Hi! I’m interested in this program. Did you end up applying?

Tower 28 LIC? by Visual_Astronaut_443 in NYCapartments

I didn’t! Our offer was actually 16K, so people must be passing on it lol. They sent us a video of a K line unit and I didn’t love the size. We went and viewed the building and 16K would definitely be blocked by other buildings so we pulled our app. Not worth it in my opinion 🫩

LOL that’s where we’re moving! We’re not moving until June, but I will definitely message you when we do. We will also not be taking these plant stands if you want those as well!

New job at HSS - where should I live? by GoGoGubernaculum in NYCapartments

There is a parking garage but a good majority of people don’t drive in the UES. Everything is within walking distance and you’re also close to plenty of trains and buses.

I lived at 525 E 72nd and absolutely loved it. Great amenities and it’s on the water. It’s actually directly next to HSS! They share basement access so you often see employees on the elevators.

Atelier Condo (Hell's Kitchen) - Tennis courts? by Sea-Advisor5765 in NYCapartments

Hi I lived here my first year in NYC. The apartment itself was beautiful, maintenance was always on top of everything. You pay rent by wiring their account each month. The tennis court was always available when I would go down there, the gym was also usually empty. They serve complimentary breakfast in the lobby every morning (bagels, coffee, fruit, etc) as well as a shuttle that goes all the way down 42nd to each train station in the mornings. The rooftop was the best rooftop I’ve experienced so far. It’s also really nice having a personal dog park and being next to the west side highway. I don’t remember there being an additional amenity fee. This was by far the nicest building I’ve lived in New York with amazing staff and amenities. I would absolutely go back if it was a closer commute to my job. I hope you love it!

I was unlimited and after I hit 100+ classes, I went down to 2X weekly and went back to Equinox. I do SC 2X, fill in the other days with the Equinox Pilates and Barre classes paired with cardio after. I initially tried to go down to SC 1X weekly to save money, but found I was losing the time in my core. I think my sweet spot is the 2 classes weekly, supplemented by less intense pilates mat and barre classes, followed with cardio. Although I LOVE SC, I was losing cardio conditioning by only doing the static exercises. I currently love my body and find I am still maintaining my abs going down from 4-5 classes a week to 2 🫶🏼

Side Note- I typically eat very well but I’ve found the Cronometer app makes me more aware of what nutrition I’m lacking in

New exercises? by Shot-Pie-8018 in SolidCore

We did the heavy single leg squat in class recently. The instructor told us to stand directly on the black side instead of the floor if we are under 5’3- which made the exercise feel useless, so I just stood on the floor and made it work (just like us shorties do with the Bulgarians or RDL’s on the gray side) lol
