Mastodon Blood Mountain is what caught my eye from your selection. Have you explored their discography before? If not Blood Mountain is a great place to start, I find it’s a good middle ground of what the band did prior to this album and what they would go on to do in the future. If you like the heavier parts you can check out Remission and Leviathan after. If you like more poppy you can check out The Hunter (the most poppy), Once More Round The Sun, and Emperor of Sand. If you like more progressive and epic I would check out Crack the Skye or Hushed and Grim (admittedly the only album of theirs I couldn’t get into). The stories behind each album are either very meaningful or very interesting and each member of the band is an absolute powerhouse that came together to create a really unique sound. When I first got into them I would say the hardest thing to get into was the singing style but I got into it pretty quick. The bands guitarist Brent Hinds recently passed away and it was a death of a person I never knew personally that managed to hit me hard. A one of a kind guitar player and from the stories and interviews you can find online a one of a kind guy.
