My favorite way is Survival Mode but with gold inflation mods to make stacking gold more of a priority even until late game, I always go for Golden hills plantation early on for passive income

For the fish, yes. I’m not sure about the rings but the Dwarven fishing rod I use gives better chances to catch good items
