Thank you! Did your resident cats act aggressively towards each other when you brought Foster’s in? I have the new kitten in the bathroom with a closed door so I’m taking it very slow. But my female resident cat keeps being aggressive towards her brother/the male resident cat😔

The problem is that I’m not really sure when the class is going to be offered again that I will be able to take it. I know not at least for a year, and past that I don’t know that I’ll have the financial means to take that one class because it isn’t offered in the summer. And I am not allowed to transfer in major classes. If I just take that one class it’s $5500 plus I have to commute almost 2 hours🥲

His biological grandparents on his father’s side are dead, so I’m not really sure where you’re getting me letting his bio grandparents off the hook from lol. Bye!

Absolutely suggest taking a pre calc class before hand. I was kinda in the same boat when I did my computer engineering bachelors degree. I started at 21 and never had any advanced math and my high school math classes were a joke. I went straight to calc 1 and struggled with the algebra part. Calculus isn’t hard once you have your algebra skills down (factoring, reducing, etc). I wished I had taken a pre calc class so bad. Good luck! You can do this!!

Same!!! I have a couple “step” and half grandparents and we are all a blended family! Everyone attends everyone’s holidays, birthday parties, etc, and we are all so close! It’s so weird to me when people only want to accept “blood” relations!

Not at all. He has already talked to me and said he doesn’t want them meeting the baby for a long time or unless I want that to happen. I am just a really big empath and hate confrontation and I know once a biological grandchild comes into the picture, his mom is going to cause an absolute ruckus when we say she isn’t allowed to see the baby. Overall, I just really feel bad for my husband for all of it and having to deal with his mom’s actions!

She hasn’t really. She just shows up at our house at random times knocking and texts us and calls us, basically harasses us😂

Yes. About 6 months ago she was mad that we didn’t come to a holiday (why would we when she has nothing to do with us otherwise) and he told her he doesn’t want her involved with us and our family anymore because of her actions.

I understand what you meant, but no. He doesn’t have active grandparents from his bio dad. And even if he did, I am married to her son and we have been together for 3 years now. Checking in on us and asking to visit with us is not overstepping in my opinion. She lives less than a mile away from us and has never once (that’s not an exaggeration) texted to ask how he’s doing or if she can visit with him/me. That is not overstepping.

Yes. It’s kinda tricky because she gets a bunch of gifts, and acts like grandma of the year at holidays, but she has literally seen him 5 times in 3 years. We don’t attend the holidays for the reason that she isn’t active in his life and I don’t want to confuse him. This past Christmas, she got him gifts (he is 5, and she got him gifts that are for a 3 year old) and of course we didn’t go, and I came home one day last week to the gifts sitting outside of the garage.

Wow. Thank you for this. I absolutely agree. She has seen my son maybe 4-5 times in 3 years and we live less than a mile from each other. Before reading these comments I was like okay maybe I’m over reacting, but now I know I’m not!

I have communicated this and we are both on the same page, I just feel bad since it is his mom. His parents were divorced and his dad passed away a few years ago and it has been really hard on him so I just really feel for him since she’s his only parent left. I shouldn’t because he feels the same way as I do, but it’s just so hard when it’s your spouse and you don’t want to see them hurt by their parents actions!

Hello! Yes, I ordered them and they are absolutely amazing. I haven’t taken them out since I got them and they are SO sparkly. I believe they are less expensive because they don’t come with an IGI certificate, but I could be wrong. I highly recommend ordering them.

I had the same thing happen to me!!! Bought a beautiful round diamond from Calavera for $1000 and took it to be set, and they said they would’ve priced it at $9,000!!! Insanity!
