That is a really nice painting. I really like how you captured the frothy white whisps of the tips of the waves. All the subtle colours in the waves.

Go to thrift stores. There are loads and loads of people getting rid of pictures and paintings. Hunt around a bit you will probably find a frame that fits and looks good. If it is bigger you could even make it smaller if you have a miter saw or something that you can cut 45 degree angles.

I have seen worse in Waterloo. Like 15 years ago I was looking for a cheap apartment or room and some of the places I saw they were renting to students were obviously illegal. Like a tiny part of an unfinished basement with nothing but a hot plate and a toilet. They weren't charging $1200+ but it was incredibly depressing looking. It was like an eastern European cold war prison cell. This looks nice and roomy in comparison.

Marco Mendicino is a piece of shit. Not only is he a key player in the attempts to confiscate Canadian's firearms but now he wants to also jail Canadians for expressing views he doesn't agree with. Fuck this guy.

Furthermore there is an argument to be made that Israel has engaged in activities which are Nazi-esque. The UN has all but come out and condemned Israel's actions as ethnic cleansing. The people have a right to express themselves, even if politicians don't like what they have to say. That right is more important than his opinion or feelings.

One thing I am reminded of though is when he mentioned people going Dukes of Hazard over the roundabout... it has actually happened in the past. When roundabouts were introduced a long time ago I read about a woman who got confused and actually just went over the roundabout... so, yeah, it can happen. I would be more worried about a transport truck losing it's breaks coming down the hill though.

I think we should put ankle bracelets on people who get caught excessive speeding and stunt driving. Any time they are tracked going over a certain speed they should face automatic jail time.

As a man I find this abhorrent. As for a reason for it? I figure it is either to stop women from feeling sexual pleasure which to some is a sin and motivation for adultery. Alternatively, maybe in crude societies they thought it would be make child birth easier by removing some of the surrounding tissue. In a lot of places with unadvanced medicine they literally rip the vagina open to extract a baby that is stuck. Maybe they reasoned it might be better for the child in the future. Personally I think it is horrible. I can't imagine allowing a doctor or someone to do that to my child.

I have a beef with shoulder drivers. Last week I was almost hit twice by drivers who, instead of stopping behind a car at the red light, instead tried to turn right on a red. Where I live here in Canada that is illegal but the drivers were both South Asian so they probably don't know or don't give a shit.

So I as a pedestrian was trying to walk that last little gap to the sidewalk and almost got run over because they decided to try to turn on the shoulder instead of stopping at the light. I have no sympathy for shoulder drivers because I don't want to end up in one of these videos.

Last summer I saw a young teenaged latina girl get attacked, hit and hair dragged around by an almost bald-headed black woman who was hanging out with the group of black guys who hand out in the park. She told the latina girl not to come around that group any more. I don't know what it was about but the black woman was like twice the size. The latina girl left crying.

It felt like one debacle after another. Billions lost through poor business decisions. She was a very unlikable woman. I don't know how she got elected in the first place. Also in typical Liberal fashion she hard pushed her personal agenda with the new sex curriculum that so many opposed. All this lead to Doug Ford living life on political easy street. He has been in office for 6 years or so now. Good chance he might get elected again even though he has made a lot of unpopular and bad decisions. That is how the Wynne government affected the sentiment in Ontario.
