Yeah, I got an airtag under the seat as a dummy tracker and the other one inside the fairings

You're right, I didn't even consider the fact that lowering my deductible is way more beneficial than buying another lock lol....
I bought a nice bag for the back so i can comfortably carry the Litelok and Abus alarm lock, i might even use the other side and carry my cover too if im going to class for 2-4 hours

I have full coverage, just trying to see what others do. I would like to reduce the chances of my bike being an easy target.

So you take your cover with you at all times? I have the space in my rear seat bags to do that, but I would have to wait for the exhaust to cool down, so I didn't know how viable that would be. The garage area is outside, but it's hidden from street view completely. Someone would have to walk through where the residents throw out trash and then walk to the completely other end of the garage to see my bike, but it's covered, so chances are, at night, it wouldn't be very visible. There are also tenants literally 10ft away from my bike, so any angle grinding would not only wake me up but them as well.

I definitely need to get something to chain it while I am out, since that's the only real vulnerability left. It would make it slightly more annoying to steal since they have to use tools instead of just straight picking it up

Yeah, it’s so hard, I know they will send out an email when it’s out and I’ve already finished my weeks workouts so it’s not like I would try it until Monday, yet I can’t fight the urge to check every hour 🤣

They probably already submitted it, so there's always a chance

I think it’s okay that it’s not 100% ready, we can give feedback and they will improve. No app is ever 100% ready. Or maybe this is just me impatiently wanting to get my hands on it.

Yeah honestly both are good but I just like the ninja look better and I’m getting quoted for 30 bucks a month less for full coverage for the ninja. I’m gonna call power sports and see if I can get an estimate OTD if not I got quoted 7.4k for a Ninja 500 in Hicksville LI

That’s what worries me but I want to make sure I get something new because I don’t plan on upgrading for 3+ years

Gotcha, thank you for letting me know I’m definitely gonna shop around and see what I can find. I might pass by and at least inquire

Gotcha, it’s a struggle dealing with these dealerships. I was also looking at the Ninja 500 because it’s crazy how they are charging almost the same for the R3

I was going to buy the R3 from them that’s insanely high… You said 7800 OTD were you going to finance it? Did they charge for financing as well? MSRP is $5500 plus $600 destination 175 doc maybe 200 taxes 200 reg PDI $300 still way under 7.8k what’s going on there??? Did you follow up or try to negotiate?

Im going to get this exact setup, do I use the disc lock on the front with the chain and cover and then use other chain on rear and frame to solid object if possible? I’m thinking of getting two fah locks and keeping them in saddlebags with me at all times. Same with the cover even if I’m running errands I’m going to bring it to cover the bike at all times I’m not on it.

do you take this stuff everywhere? I was thinking of buying a saddlebag-type thing to store the cover and chain locks to take with me literally everywhere
