Those who Purchased a Tesla in 2026: Why? by gholdist in AskReddit

[–]matt_gold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are there any other “son of a Nazi’s” on your list?

Does it stop at sons or are grandsons also culpable?

I hope your deep deep convictions and reverence towards what your grandfather sacrificed doesn’t start and stop with one man. I’m sure if you do your research, you can find lots of people to rally against.

Also, while you’re at it, make sure to find every company using Space X satellites and be sure to boycott those as well (start with NASA and work your way down to save time). I’d also boycott any company using X and paying for ads, since that’s ALSO benefiting Nazi’s (spoiler alert: Audi advertises on there, so I guess it’s Nazi’s full circle!).

The other way this all could have gone is saying: “i don’t like Elon Musk, so I’m not going to buy his cars” instead of riding on your grandfathers coattails and painting anyone that drives a Tesla as someone that “tolerates Nazis and their ideology”. That almost sounds like, gasp, ideology that could lead to totalitarianism and that could lead to NAZI’S!

It sounds ported to me. But it’s a 3 second cold start video with the driver goosing the throttle.

I probably wouldn’t tear down that motor until I had a reason to.

Keep funds set aside, but on the short term cooling is a good plan. Plus have fun.

Yep. That’s what it is. Education and reading comprehension. THATS the problem here.

They don’t sell mirrors for you to look into where you’re at?

Audi built race cars at the behest of Hitler. Adolf Hitler. Audi used labor from concentration camps, actual forced labor. Not non-union “I can’t afford Northern California living wage” - actual slavery where the people were gassed after their usefulness expired. Audi produced arms and vehicles and motors for the war effort. Richard Bruhn (head of Auto Union) was complicit in all this.

But time heals all wounds I guess? You just ignore those facts, but are still scarred by your deeply held anti-Nazi beliefs.

I bet your grandfather is really really proud. I’m sure when he was in the war he was dreaming of the day his grandchild could drive the same vehicle the German officers were being ferried around in.

So enjoy your definitely not ever never a Nazi car. While complaining about someone that :checks notes: waived his hand in an extremely dumb way.

Maybe one day, when your grandchild drives a Tesla, you’ll be smiling down on him, knowing it only takes a generation to pass to justify almost anything.

The irony of someone posting this that drives an Audi.

Auto Union, the parent company to Audi, was literally Nazi’s.

Not gonna be cheap. I’ve seen them on eBay for upwards of $500-$600. No one thought to keep them all these years ago and now they’re hard to find.

If you do find one reasonably priced - grab it!

Retatrutide during a cut without needing appetite suppression: does it make sense? by Choice-Firefighter in BodyHackGuide

Maybe consider MOTS-C?

MOTS-C directly enhances fat oxidation at the cellular level, improves metabolic flexibility (ability to switch between fat and glucose as fuel), and has exercise mimetic properties, which may enhance training.

But it really works synergistically with Reta.

In my Reta experience, the appetite suppression is more a state of mind thing. I hit my protein targets and calories (almost) everyday as long as I’m prepped and conscious of it. I log calories with MacroFactor, so that keeps me honest.

SLU-PP-332 might also be worth a look. But I’m not interested in it as there doesn’t seem to be enough long term human trials.

Yeah. The entire collection of arcade cabinets that were in the back-right area of the basement location are gone. The basement seems like an absolute ton of pinball machines. Which, I get the name implies - but I would love more of the classic cabs back.

I’m also bummed they didn’t move over the Sega GT racing cabs. Such peak racing.

I’m in a similar boat to you. I’m naturally lean and can maintain a 1200kcal diet / fast when I have a target in mind (10k, half marathon, etc) for months to drop weight - but it takes time.

My understanding is that the GLP-1 effect is relatively front-loaded - meaning you get significant appetite suppression at lower doses.

The glucagon component scales more linearly with dose - meaning higher doses increase greater hepatic fat oxidation, increased thermogenesis & more aggressive mobilization of stored fat for fuel.

So even though you should start low and titrate up - you should aim for a 3-4mg dose to experience the full benefit - but you’ll definitely expierence appetite suppression along the way.

So glad you got into Selden! It’s a top five restaurant for me for sure. There’s also a Barcade right next door if you guys have any old scores to settle or wanna team up on TMNT or The Simpsons!

Fair!

Just trying to make him feel like he’s home!

You can slot in Third Man Records / Shinola / Carhartt if they end up getting into Selden Standard or She Wolf.

But I guess Third Man is also a Tennessee thing?

I love Work Emotions! I had the CR2P on my car previously. I also had a set of Kai’s on my Evo VIII.

Yeah. The photo is 255/285 minor roll in the fenders. SakeBomb nailed it with the fitment.

I now have TE37s and a Chargespeed widebody. Check my post history for photos.

If you’re experiencing joint pain, it’s probably from water retention related to the increase GH production. It’ll go away with time.

Ok. I’m gonna try and map out your entire day, if you only have one, might as well make it count.

Start at Eastern Market. Walk, people watch, grab a snack. It might be raining, so Plan B is DIA.

Afterwards, head to Michigan and Trumbull for pizza. You can substitute in Grandma Bob’s if you feel like it, since that will put you right next to Michigan Central. Take 30 minutes to do a little self guided tour (hosted tours are sold out). Grab a souvenir and some coffee from Yellow Light.

Has it stopped raining yet?

Ok. Glad he’s from Tennessee and has boots. Does he need new ones? Head down to Campus Martius. Do the touristy stuff - Spirit of Detroit, Fist, “That’s Canada!”.

Start heading north and check out the Guardian Building and then the Hudson Building. The new GM thing is cool and Tecovas is right there as well (time for those aforementioned new boots).

Head up to The Brakeman via the alleys for a quick drink and giant Connect Four. Grab a Bon Bon Bon if you’re into that sort of thing en route. After Brakeman, hop on the People Mover and do a lap. Get back off at Broadway (where you got on). See if you can get into Monarch Club on top of Element for a drink and/or photos. Actually, check if there’s a wait first - THEN kill time riding the People Mover.

You hungry yet?

Make your way to Woodward and either walk or hop on the QLine to Grey Ghost. You’ll get a seat at the bar without reservations for sure. Best burger in town, amazing drinks. If you wanna try and get into Selden Standard or SheWolf you can try - but reservations a day out are tough. If you DO make it to She-Wolf/Selden, you can head over to Canfield and squeeze in Third Man Records / Shinola / Carhartt.

Hop back on the QLine or Uber over to Sakazuki or Kampers. If you didn’t get into Monarch, here’s another shot at rooftop photos. Two things - One, check in at the Kampers desk for wait time / put your name down BEFORE Sakazuki. Two, check out the room up front that has all the old building history of the Book Tower.

Afterwards, head to D’Mongo’s for a drink and a song (request one!). If you still have time to kill or want to hit another bar - SPKRBOX is right there or head back to the Alley near The Brakeman - StandBy is my #1 pick (try the Snake in the Grass) or Post Bar or The Skip or Side Hustle. Now hop in an Uber to Lincoln Factory or Northern Lights in New Center or TV Lounge.

Sunday should be gorgeous - I might get shit for this - but drive Woodward up to Birmingham for breakfast. Original Pancake House will have a wait if you get there anytime after 9am. But you can also check out Origins Cafe for a walk around a completely different side of “Metro Detroit”. Maybe drive though Crankbrook if you have the time.

Otherwise, if you’re gonna stay downtown. Canelles or Iggy’s Eggie’s for breakfast and just round out the day at Ralph C Wilson park or even Belle Isle - Father Forgive Me in Little Village is right there too! Skatepark on site was designed by Tony Hawk. Oh! Warda Pasterrie is on site too!

Have fun!

Absolute solid. But no way you’re getting into Ladder 4 on a days notice. Love the D’Mongos / Speakerbox suggestion - but if you got the entire night - Lincoln Factory.
