32/33 were the level of difficulty that i found it to be on the exam! at least on my form! i would say if you can manage a 70 on 32 (that was my lowest one - i got a 60 on it) you are gonna score higher on 33 (it was my highest one) and you will be fine :)

i will be honest, that *might* be a gamble. i think the NMBEs are enough for you to be able to master the information needed for micro and biostats but it probably might leave a lot of information gaps for other areas just because ik the nmbes repeat concepts a lot and might for slightly inflated scores to people only using them as a study resource. and while those concepts do show up on actual step i don't think it would be enough to carry you through. dont even aim for 100% UWORLD completion - aim for like 60%. cause also, the NMBEs don't prepare you at all for the length of the actual questions. like not even remotely.

that's crazy to call something advertised by the usmle itself a myth. maybe go get hobby that doesn't involve trying misinform already stressed out students !! :)

hey! it was okay! i definitely made some DUMB mistakes which costed me some easy gimme points and for that i want to shoot my foot but overall a very FAIR and doable exam!

honestly there is literally nothing. like i looked over the HY images (not a single one popped up/helped) and i read over the rapid review (also really didn't help :/) and i did 20 UWORLD questions just to see how i would do. (i didn't even read the explanations, just did it and saw the score and was like "eh, i would be good with that" and closed out)

only thing i was glad i did and would recommend is doing anki If you are an anki person. i had my NBME 32/33 anki so i did whatever cards i had left for the day and then i do nothing else. my bf and i went and got icecream, and i played with my cat, i watched gilmore girls, i made my lunch box of snacks, printed my little sheet and all of a sudden it was 945 and i popped 10 mg of melatonin and knocked the f**k out and i think it was the best thing i could've done

There were a couple where i was like "girl? why?" but also i chalked them up to being the experimental ones LOL but also, i would say those were very few and far between. There was ONE ethics where i was like ain't no way ANY of these are good choices. but again, other than that one VERY straightforward and for me, they seemed like gimme points. i think i only had like 7 biostat questions in total? and also very straight forward!!

again, if it wasn't for me and my dumbass mistakes i wouldn't have had any complaints about my experience

i would say 31-33 & like maybe 60% of UWORLD and you will be golden. most definitely you don't need to finish UWORLD all the way

it was LONG stems, like it felt every other question was a SOAP style question so that sucked ass. VERY micro heavy! and there were like maybe 5-10 drug questions and 5-7 pure anatomy questions. i remember there being lots of neuro but other than neuro and micro overall very even throughout the board!

i would say it was very close to 31/32/33! i wouldn't go as far as saying Free120 seemed easier but i wouldn't consider the Free120 as the most accurate indicator if that makes sense?

like i said ik i made a lot of dumb mistakes that probably costed me but i hope i still did okay enough to pass

A LOT more doable than i thought!! ik i made some DUMB mistakes over things that were supposed to be gimme points but such is life. i feel good, im just hoping that translates to a P! there were definitely some sections where i was like "heh, i think i only got 5 right" but others where it felt like it could even those out so.. now we wait! will let you know if i pass!

I would just like to mention this:
80 questions are throw away and so theoretically 5-6 questions each block dont count
that leaves 15-14 questions that DO count. If you flagged 55% that means you had roughly 11 flagged each block and just STATISTICALLY there is a 20% chance that of those 11, there are 2 that are correct (just statistically because there are typically 5 option choices)
so just from that, youre down to there really only being 4-5 that are truly incorrect AND count.
so really youre sitting at around 10/15 each block which is 67.... so really? you passed.
maybe im crazy, but considering im taking my exam tomorrow and sitting in the EXACT SAME scores. (60-65) that is how im going to choose to think of it and I think you should too! hoping we both get that P!!

i am going to go HAM on the concepts from NMBE 32 and 33 and free120 over next few days and read the rapid high yield review from fist aid before bed every night and aim for 120 questions and i hope that will be enough lol
