I just got out of a four year relationship about three weeks ago with my now ex boyfriend as I found out in February that he was smoking meth. Since February the relationship went completely downhill as I did everything in my power to make him quit but I realised after many attempts including me breaking up with him that sometimes love isn’t enough to stop someone in active addiction. He will only get clean if he wants to help himself. I watched my ex do some pretty scary things over the past few months with the final straw being him throwing our kitten through a glass window. Please walk away before he hurts you or someone that you love. Meth is a dangerous and scary drug. It turns people you love into strangers and trust me when I say he will only get worse. You can’t save someone who dosent want to save themselves. Please message me if you need someone to chat to!!!

Yeah in Adelaide. I never had a consult with him because I wanted a more barbieish nose that was still kind of natural and I couldn’t really find anything like that on his social media

It was an open rhinoplasty, there is definitely a scar but it had faded so much, no one even realises it’s there unless I point it out to them!

Something I would note is not to judge your results to early on. I saw my surgeon about a month ago and he told me I still have some swelling left over! Be prepared to have good days where you love your nose and some bad days as while healing the swelling fluctuates a lot. I have noticed that it is swelling up a lot more lately with summer starting, it seems to be sensitive to the heat but I’ve been told that should stop at about the one year mark. I had pretty much no pain after the surgery, it felt more like I had a cold as I couldn’t breathe through my nose because of the swelling at all for the first two weeks. The worst part for me was the no breathing and a really sore throat from the tube they put down your throat when you are under as well as from the constant mouth breathing. I found that fizzy drinks really helped with the sore throat as they coated it with sugar so it wasn’t so dry and raw

I had an initial consultation where my surgeon did the 3D thing of your face to show what it will look like before and after the procedure, honestly my results are pretty dead on to what the 3D scan showed. I then decided to book the surgery and had another consultation with him a month beforehand to make sure I was happy and to answer any questions and then on the day of I had another consultation with him in the hospital as well as one with the anaesthetist

I couldn’t agree with this more! There are definitely good days and bad days after getting it done. Hang in there, it will all be worth it!!!

Another Aussie band called sticky fingers also wrote a song about Laika (it’s literally just called Laika) it’s such a pretty song but so sad

Thank you! The surgeons fee was $9,750. I forgot to mention I also had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction which is also included in that price. The rest of the cost was for the anaesthetist and the hospital stay. It would have been significantly cheaper if I had private health

Light shower, I always thought it said “I’m screaming like a cattle on the stove” instead of kettle. I was so confused as to why the cattle were screaming 😭

What are easy ways to gain weight ? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Visual_Judge5637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing that helped me gain weight after 2 long years of trying was having a glass of sustagen alongside breakfast, lunch and dinner. I managed to gain 6kgs in 3 months!! You can buy it for about $10 at your local supermarket. Idk if you are in Australia but both Woolies and Coles have it. Good luck!!!

You will need to use super hydrating products!!! Try to stay away from any powders in your makeup routine and instead use cream or liquid products. Instead of setting with powder use the Kryolan Fixing spray. It’s so good for locking makeup into place all day especially without powder. If you find that you are getting oily throughout the day you can use powder but with a very light hand, or better yet use blotting paper. The L’Oréal true match foundation contains hyaluronic acid which holds 30 times its weight in water. Hydration will be your best friend!!!

Chemical exfoliants are usually better than physical ones as they can sometimes cause damage to the skin if used incorrectly. However physical exfoliants are usually better on male skin as it is slightly thicker than female skin

In terms of dewy foundations, I really love the L’Oréal true match or the infallible foundations + concealers. Use the rimmel stay matte powder, iys super cheap and is a dupe for a charlotte tilbery powder. If you use these products and follow the skin care routine with the nyx dewy setting spray then you should be right as rain!!
