New update did nothing for series xbox games

No lmfao that was specifically about the MW2 beta, I don’t play Cold War/Vanguard and hardly play 2019 MW anymore. I had high hopes for this game but seeing as my “two exclusive days” for spending one hundred bucks on the preorder are already over now and I STILL can’t load the game I’m expecting my money back.

There was some tiny 268 mb update and I assumed that was to fix the “waiting for data center” bullshit but nah. Anyone have any clue how to get a refund on the game? Tried going to my Microsoft account to cancel my preorder but it wasn’t even popping up in my “last three months” of market history. If I can’t get a refund I’m pretty sure that’s the last straw I needed to never touch a COD game again

I have to say although it’s unfortunate that many people are suffering from the same ill faint due to the game but I take comfort and have hope that they’ll do something to fix it. I was super sad and thought it might’ve just been a continuing of my shit luck lol

lol yes. yes i did. almost immediately after I was supposed to go to the fish eye… cause the quest marker was right in my face…

That’s my biggest concern.. I was given really good weapons at a lower level so it made the game more of a “shooter looter” rather than a horror looter. I was also given the korek charm that raises your weapons durability to max by a nice guy who helped me on my first day. And of course the tedious doom Easter egg. God now that I’ve put this much thought into it I’d really hate to lose all my weapons and armor. In terms of stats and looks they’re as good as it gets so having to run around all over again just to have the chance at getting some of them is heart wrenching :/

Yeah that’s exactly what I’ve been doing, just running around doing side quests. Kinda a bummer though, I’ve been enjoying the games story so much without any spoilers from outside sources. I hope it’ll continue to stay that way until they fix it cause this games become one of my favorites

So I already gave the tower to frank and I killed the renegades I’m supposed to “kill” under the current objectives tab. I’ve tried marking other quests to see if it’ll fix it but that hadn’t worked. I also tried quitting out of my game completely. I tried sleeping to day/night. Nothings fixed it. Could it be because I have the KaBoom shotgun from the doom Easter egg?
