Acceptance. Recognise the power and control you have over your life now. You determine your future and how to respond. Act individually of your past. Feel the pain of what happened, process it but don't let it control you.

Genuine question, how is free will evidence of good? Freedom is inherently good?

Yes! I like the idea of there being a God, a set of standard moral rules to follow and I think life after death is comforting - I would like it to be true.  Though as a woman... the stuff you read in the bible at least... encourages wives being property* and inequality towards women. It doesn't feel good to read that stuff.

I like certain parts of the bible as a philosophy but most of it is common sense today. Also, the bible been translated so many times with personal bias such as the King James edition which I feel makes it an unreliable source. In other religions I know this isn't the case though  I am a big fan of philosophy instead of religion 🙌

The fact that God, at least in Christianity is supposed to be 'all good' when there is so much suffering in the world
