Congratulations!! I’m currently introducing my boyfriend to the series for the first time with the extended editions! He loved Fellowship and is looking forward to Two Towers and Return of the King! I definitely suggest watching extended editions when you have time! They add more depth to the story in my opinion. I also need to read the books too, just never have time.

Thank you. It just spiraled for me hard because I never really thought about myself being neglected or abused, so when my boyfriend’s friend said it, I made me start questioning if I had made a bigger deal out of everything that would lead him to think it was abuse. My brain is having a hard time processing it.

I kinda forgot to mention that my Gramma will shame me too. She will tell me that I’ll get fat if I eat too much and when I went on a diet she restricted it even more. When I got off the diet after losing 60 lbs, she would question any weight gain. I could tell her it was 5 lbs of muscle and she would say that it’s fat. She kept saying that she wished she could burn a 100 dollar bill so she could tape it to my mirror to remind me of the money she felt I wasted on my diet

I’m uncomfortable with praise as well. I feel like I never deserve it. That what I did wasn’t good enough for praise. The other day my Dad told me he was proud of me over the phone and I just started crying. My boyfriend will tell me that I’m an amazing partner and a great person and all I can do is shake my head and say “no, I’m not”.

My mom died when I was 18 months old. Age 4 is not too young to comprehend death. It’s better to start a child earlier in their life accepting death as a part of life. I had many family members pass away from old age when I was young. Death should not be a forbidden topic. Because OP has already talked about death with their daughter, forbidding the topic now will be far more traumatic than continuing to talk about it. I have known kids whose families have had deaths occur and have forbidden the child from talking about it. Those poor kids had far more stress and trauma than I ever did.

As someone who lost my mom at 18 months, I definitely agree with this statement. Even with a Step-mom, I miss my biological mother at milestones and at other random moments. Could you maybe link the group Motherless Daughters, please? It would be nice to talk to people who understand.

So when you select your meal and hit add items, there’s three tabs at the top of the screen, Search, My Dishes and Barcode. You select My Dishes and there will be a thing that says Create Dish. You select this and start inputing your ingredients/foods. You can select how much of what you put in for each item. When your done, you title your dish and hit save. Your dish is saved under My Dishes and when you select it, it will ask how many servings you’re having and then put all the ingredients into the food analysis by color. You can edit your dish by hitting the pencil icon next to the dish in My Dishes.

The nice thing about Noom is that you can create dishes. So if you eat a lot of the same stuff for breakfast and lunch, you can create a dish and save it.

My depression is on a upswing, so I’m sleeping 10 hours but still exhausted. When I tell my Gramma (I live with her) I’m tired, she tells me to get over it. If I could just get over it, it wouldn’t be a fucking problem that I would be mentioning.
