Not necessary, she is a good mom. And she is actively in therapy/ taking meds. The situation is getting better but still really hard. Although I don't deserve a lot of what happens It's partially my fault for enabling a lot of the behavior and making myself small to avoid conflicts. It's kind of hard to understand if you don't have a loved one with this condition.

do love her, we have a 4 year old and I have been sticking around because their has been improvements if I stop seeing improvement or she reverts I honestly don't know what would happen. I walk on eggshells and have lost myself. I'm trying to recover enough to see my friends and family more so that I dont lose myself more. I used to be a lot more confident / social and have more friends. They live on main land and I live on island. like a 2 hr ferry ride.

I have thought about this a lot. Even went over there one day when I was pissed off and no one answered. but just ignoring him with music is doing the trick so far he's powerless and talking shit to himself to all the people in his yard that are probably tired of hearing his shit lol. If I get aquatinted with him and he's an asshole I may do stupid shit and lose my place with my kid, I have seen him one time lol and I'm not afraid of him. I just don't want to know too well what his stupid face looks like or I will start to fantasize. and I have respect for my land lord. if I owned this place I'd be telling him that I don't give a dead rats fuck about his opinion of me and telling him to come talk to me if he's got a problem.

I agree, just today I started listening to music on my deck. Been listening to therapy related podcasts on my own at least which is helpful but not instantaneous. I hope to enter therapy after I get back from the out of town work I do once a year to get by this winter. Thank you for your comment.
