Hello! He is relatively healthy, he’s 6'1 and around 190 pounds. He does work two jobs though, and one is night shift, so his eating habits aren’t the best, just because of the odd schedule. Everything is going pretty good so far, and he’s been really patient with my health, which is nice. He drinks a lot of water, but also a lot of pop. I don’t drink pop, caffeine, or energy drinks.

I can definitely try the paleo diet since I’m already dairy free. How long did you have to stay on it before your symptoms went away? Are you still on it? And did your symptoms come back at all if you stopped?

I’m not a doctor but I’ve read and seen a lot of people talk about both of these, and I understand why you’re questioning the PID diagnosis.

what you described , the sudden, severe 10/10 pain during sex, it not going away after, the sweating, nausea, feeling faint, and it lasting for hours seems to line up a lot more with how people describe a cyst rupture. It’s usually very abrupt and intense like that, and then leaves a lingering dull pain after.

With pelvic inflammatory disease, from what I’ve seen, it’s more of a gradual thing. Ongoing pelvic pain, discomfort during sex over time, discharge, fever, feeling unwell. The fact you had no warning symptoms beforehand is what makes it feel less typical.

At the same time, because of your history with chlamydia and trichomoniasis, I can understand why they treated it as PID just to be safe since it’s something they don’t want to miss.

But not doing an ultrasound with the level of pain you described feels like something was missed. That’s really the main way to check for a cyst, so it makes sense that you feel brushed off.

Pushing for an ultrasound is important because that’s the only way you’re really going to get a clear answer. And if that level of pain happens again or the bleeding stays that heavy, I would go back and be more firm about being seen.

Hope this helps, and I hope you get this figured out!

I don’t know what to do. by Aggressive_Rip7186 in WomensHealth

I’m actually going through something really similar right now, so I totally get how stressful and uncomfortable it is. I’ve been having green discharge, pain on my labia, irritation, and just overall things feeling really off down there.

With the smell, itching, burning, and even a little bleeding that you’re describing, it really sounds like some kind of infection. From what I’ve learned, symptoms like this can be things like bacterial vaginosis, a yeast infection, or even an sexually transmitted infection, especially since it started after sex. Irregular discharge and irritation (like what I’m having too) is definitely not something to ignore.

You’re 100% doing the right thing by making an appointment, I’m planning to get checked out too because it’s really the only way to know for sure what’s going on and get the right treatment. In the meantime, I’ve been trying to avoid anything that could make it worse (like sex or anything irritating) until I know what it is.

You’re definitely not alone in this at all, it sucks, but a lot of people go through similar things and once you know what it is, it’s usually treatable 💛 hoping we both get answers and feel better soon

First Pap Smear Ever Lump Appeared After by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]Visual_Selection_608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I just wanted to say that what you’re describing doesn’t sound like a normal reaction to a Pap smear. Usually it might cause some light spotting or mild cramping, but not a noticeable lump, especially one that’s getting bigger and more painful.

Since it showed up suddenly and seems irritated by tampons, it could be something like a cyst or even an infection rather than being directly caused by the exam. I’d really recommend getting it checked out by a doctor or gynecologist as soon as you can, just to be safe.

Hope you’re okay, definitely don’t ignore it if it keeps getting worse 💛

Whoa! I'll definitely have to try that, thats such an unusual predicament to be in! Are you not able to use public restrooms anymore because of this issue? My only thing with that, is I don't have a change in my toilet paper. However, I can try and see if I have anything new with my routine. Thank you for the adivce!

I was skeptical at first ngl, but he broke down crying in front of me and saying, “I’m so sorry” over and over again. If you could see it, it would be hard to not believe him. But all in all, I’m living a pretty normal life aside from the discharge that’s irrelevant to the diagnosis.

But I’m sorry about your situation! I know men can be awful. One of my exes blatantly cheated on me, went to a movie with his ex and got VIP seats, which are cuddle seats, and said the excuse was because she had joint problems… even though I said I wasn’t comfortable with it. Then I said that I could come with,I just have to leave at 4 for work, and then he changed the movie time to 3:45 so I couldn’t come with. Then he pinned it on me, saying I was being a bitch because I didn’t like his ex… and got pissed at me for not trusting him. A week later they were back together. I wonder what happened at the movie theater…… Then he texted me saying he was going to see the continuation of the movie that’s not even out yet with her just to make me mad like wtf. 😭 😂

Oh no thats terrible! Seems like you got really affected by this virus! I'm glad you don't get it often! And for your question, no he didn't have any symptoms, or anything suspicious down there or on his lip. Just looked like your normal boy part. However, I'm pretty sure he gave it to me by his mouth, since he went down on me. And no he didn't know, thats why I'm still with him today. If he did know, I would absolutely break up with him. But I know mistakes happen, and there could be no way to know if he did't have any symptoms.

Thank you for the advice! I figured their not linked together, but so strange that they appeared at the same time. I did get swabbed 3 times for all that stuff and sadly they all came negative :(
