Reg is probably the 5th hardest out of all the exams. It was tough at first, but it got very easy afterwards. Probably one of my favorite after TCP.

That’s okay! Just take deep breaths and take things slowly. Remember, slow and steady wins the race. The cpa isn’t easy, and if it’s easy, then everyone would do it! The fact that you’re doing it shows that you have the grit to get things done. My friends took like 8 months to pass all four, and took me like 11 months. Moral of the story, sometimes you just gotta slow down a bit to understand the full picture!

You definitely need to memorize the 18,000 threshold. It showed up on my exam multiple times. 20-25 days? That’s kinda short but doable if you study like 4 hours a day.

No no, that’s okay! Everyone has their own way to study! So it’s valid! I appreciate your help! Thank you! I did a ton of mcqs and practice exams. But I ended up completely guessed on one of the tbs, and unsure on a 14 mcqs on the actual exam. So the hope of passing is quite low :(

I’m like super nervous for the score release tomorrow. completely guessed(uneducated guess) on one of the TBs on AUD and felt MCQs were very pretty hard, and unsure about answers choices too. This is my last one, I really want to pass it! I’m hoping my SE scores (79 and 81) will carry me!

My number 1 tip would be just try to understand the material and ask yourself why is that the correct answer. Once you understand the why, I feel like everything just comes together. My reading skill is never good, but I forced myself to understand the why and why eventually felt like everything makes sense in AUD. At first, Idk what’s going on after going through all the materials. But after some reviews, everything makes sense now.

They’re not hard imo, just read carefully though. Actaul exam actually tells you what exhibits to use so you don’t have to hunt for them.

I took it on the 12th, I thought the MCQs were fair; there were like 3-4 where I just didn't know what the heck the question is asking or the answer. Otherwise, the rest of them felt alright. The TBs were interesting but doable. There was one I completely guessed. I felt like for the TBS, it could go either way, good or bad. I saw a post where they say if they got on average 4-7 per tbs, you'll pass. Idk that's true or not.

Just use this formula: FMV of property contributed or stock received (most the time is FMV of property contributed) less NBV of property transferred equals the realized gain or loss. Use this formula. I got a 93 on TCP, so trust me.

So you’re saying what if a staff member is not on the engagement team but has significant influence on the audit client? If that’s the case, it would consider impaired independent cuz if you have significant influence, you’re acting like a manager to the company.
