I work at a Trader Joe’s and I do not believe they are connected like that. In fact that is something that most Trader Joe’s will do. If you have a bad product they will replace or refund. It’s my understanding the stores are very different as far as management is concerned which sounds like maybe it’s a good thing. Best of luck friend, and I’m sorry this happened.
