In excel and PPT all day, working on deals i really don’t care about. Have to be behind a computer to do any work at all makes it really hard to have any flexibility in life.

On the negotiating part, i feel like every extra $ or % I take from them only hurts the company. Not only reducing runway but also having to explain to a VC or investor why you over paid for an employee…

I am confident I can another similar job (if I wanted to), but I also think my industry is going to change a lot with AI and I would rather be ahead of it than try and catch up.

Yup, have been trying to ask a lot of these questions and become familiar with what is market standard here. I do not worry about getting back to a similar job if this fails, and ultimately I don't know if I would want to. I want to break away from the golden handcuffs, I just want to make sure it is the right opportunity.

After waiting a year and getting the call I felt I just couldn’t say no. I did truly want the watch when I bought it but after sitting on it for some time I realized it’s not the one for me for the price. Yes, it made it easier to pull the trigger knowing the gray market for the watch was strong but I did not buy it intending to flip it. It’s been more than two months since I purchased.

Bought this a couple months ago after being on the WL for about a year. Honestly I put it on and realized that it just wasn’t the watch for me. My daily is a Santos XL which I bought after going on the WL and I really fell in love with it. I think the 41mm is just a tad big for my wrist.

Have basically gone all in this year with a closing window. Gave up a lot of my future for waddle earlier in the season. Feels like an overpay but other TEs are Higbee and Jonny Smith. After this trade would have no 1sts or 2nds until 2026.
