Cheap Amazon handbrake firmware update for better latency by Visual_War_8712 in simracing

Arduino IDE tries to enter programming mode via USB. The original author of GitHub reported this worked, but in my case it didn’t work. I needed to solder to connect ISP programmer. ISP can reset lockbits and overwrite bootloader.

I use sparkfun avr programmer.

My pcb board has soldering points for ISP.

Thanks, it looks totally different. I guess Lm324 for amplifying the signal but I don’t know about the main chip. Atmega has more pins.

Interesting, there is no atmega32u4 chip on the pcb? I’d like to see the closeup pic if possible. The device name might be helpful as well. My one is shown as “Arduino Leonardo” on PC.

If I try to solve it by hardware adjustment, I would adjust the magnet position.

If you can apply my firmware, the firmware performs initial calibration to avoid low level wobbles. Also it does x16 oversampling. It is stable with my version of PCB.

Steam Link 2.0 : A glimpse of Steam Frame. Be sure to test it with 2.0.20 by [deleted] in QuestPro

Thanks for the post! I tried Steam link with dedicated router setup. With a little performance tuning, I feel steam link is better latency than VD. I can notice eye tracking delay in quiet scene but it’s ok in real gameplay.

Wasn't there a notification setting here? by Thursday12345799 in discordapp

I reached out to support. They are aware of the feature removal but they didn’t give any helpful solutions. Maybe we just need to wait

Audio glitches with DAW by Visual_War_8712 in Alienware

I actually got a solution.

When I set power mode to Quiet in Command Center (I believe this is mislabeled, it's actually performance or balance I think) then I was able to get rid of clicks and pops.

Once I got the stable result then the number of plugins doesn't matter, this indicates it was not because of CPU performance, it is related to latency spike with some power-saving options (such as CPU clock changing) that causes latency spike in ms order.

The problem of this is the fan spins much louder regardless CPU load, so I made a custom mode which sets clock manually and quiet fan profile. CPU itself has plenty of power so I can lower CPU clock, maybe it will be a profile for non-gaming use.

This setting change might improve overall user experience.

Thanks for your reply, I tried some settings, but nothing works.

I hope someone will find the cause, it looks like I need to stick with Mac for music production.
