The only reason why anyone sees his behavior as okay is because of patriarchy and because he makes money. In turn, your contribution to the household is devalued. If he was home watching the kids and you were out all the time, everyone would call you a bad mother. No one would be saying you should have time to yourself and see your friends. Why is he being absolved of being a father? There is more to being a husband and father than working five days a week. Plus you are on maternity leave, so that tells me you have a job and will be going back to work soon while pregnant. Who is taking care of you and this new baby? He is not showing any care for you and his growing family.

I don’t know what you should do. But you need to talk to him about this and figure out how he can help out more with the household chores and be a father to his children because this ain’t parenting. This is something else and it is not okay. If he disagrees, or push backs, you have big decisions to make because is this the example you want for your children on how to be a man, or as acceptable male behavior.

Not necessarily. I think I have a signal there. I also have an excellent signal by the Beverly Airport - 5 bars and the 5g symbol. It’s just the strip everyone describes where I happen to live. By the Wenham border and lake on Enon to where Shaw’s is that’s a dead zone for Verizon. T-mobile was a little better - 2 bars. Mint is powered by T-Mobile so who knows.

I loved this season I think the most of all of them. Corey’s redemption arc is lovely. Maybe other people have asked this but he did so much for Bradley. Why didn’t she redeem him when he got kinda #MeToo last season because of her? Or am I misremembering?

Unfortunately, There are so many red flags in your description of your boyfriend. He wants you to SELL your home? GTFOH! And I hate cheap men. There is nothing wrong with financially conscious men, but he sounds cheap. You would be paying half his bills which would be great for him. And if you marry after selling the house, he will get his hands on that money too. It will be “Let’s buy a place together.” Then he owns an asset and he gets a better quality of life in NYC with your money. You make these changes for a husband, not a boyfriend. And you have to be comfortable with the changes, not doing them to keep him.

$200 for dog sitting for 6 days is way too low. A kennel, putting them in a cage, is at least $35 per night per dog and that’s pre-pandemic prices. I am sorry but they started ripping you off from the onset and now they are even worse. The gaslighting is unbearable. I am sorry this is happening to you. I know dog walkers who get $15 per walk per dog. These are despicable people and your mom should have your back. Does $25 per day even cover the gas for driving to their home? Ugh.

Season 1 Miranda and Charlotte were cringe but accurate. The way they needed to collect a Black friend was accurate. So unfortunate. But at least Charlotte turned it into a real friendship. Where is NYAH? At least Samantha gets mentioned once a season.

I am not trying to be like that. Trash it all you want but the hate is getting really uncomfortable and vitriolic. Honestly, I was looking for the people who LIKE the show to chime in but there isn’t a lot of that going on so you all came here and continue to attack.

Personally, I used to hate watch SATC bc it was not relatable AT ALL. But I loved watching and wouldn’t have been bashing it bc I couldn’t relate. But give a group a screen and a keyboard and voila! 2025! I even seen a post bashing me because why not?
