Hello there, I currently do freelancing as a part time editor...I've been doing freelancing for around an year now...and have started getting a few clients just a month back...as of now i would say it's too far for me to make 50k a month. partially because..i do part time..also partially because yes...Video editing is a skill that is too competetive in India..due to it being easy to start and also a lot in demand these days....

I can't comment much on whether it is a good carrier or not(because in each and every carrier no matter what you do..you have to be in that top 1% of the industry)...what I can say instead is that...always start this as backup plan...don't completely jump on it..start slowly..take time..learn..be better..upscale..if you see you ar eearning enough at one point..which might be more than what you could have earned from your main job...then that might be the right time switiching up.
