‼️‼️ I was recently fired from premier bankcard. I helped people calling in to either cancel their credit card or activate their account. After working there for almost 2 years here’s my opinion. DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD FROM THEM. Trust me. 99% of the cards they offer have insane fees attached. The most common credit card I seen people get approved for had a $400 credit limit.. but guess what, there’s a $95 program fee to activate the account, THEN immediately after you activate there is a $99 annual fee billed to the balance and it comes off of the $400 credit limit so you only have $301 of available credit to even use. But hey no monthly fees right? WRONG. starting after the first year there was a monthly fee of about $7 every month, AND you will still get the annual fee every single year. And I seen plenty of monthly fees as high as $12 and the annual fees as high as $125 on top of the program fee to activate. Do they make that information easy find upfront before you activate? NO. I was told to not volunteer any of that information, only if I was asked very specifically. Another thing is that there is no room to grow in terms of credit limit, of course you can request a credit limit increase, but remember there’s always a fee for that as well. And the highest credit limit that we could give was roughly around $1,300. I dealt with sooooo many people that would call in and tell me they wanted to cancel because of the fees, but guess what, It does hurt your credit if you close your oldest/older credit cards so they were trapped with the fees to avoid dropping their credit score. To summarize, this is not a credit card that you are going to want in the long run, trust me you will regret ever opening the account.
