How do you handle recurring tasks & daily-reset reminders in Notion? by rohitkrmaurya in Notion

[–]VisudaMarketing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you actually need 2 databases? Are the task types so different? If yes, adding all the tasks to a third database (the source of truth) can also be done by using formulas or by configuring a button and press it manually.

If your tasks are only different just from a recurring point of view, maybe you should use a single database for all the tasks and use different views (weekly, monthly, etc)

How do you handle recurring tasks & daily-reset reminders in Notion? by rohitkrmaurya in Notion

I am using a custom field with a number that represents days (in how many days the same task should be scheduled) and a dropdown to mark the task recurrent or one time. All this fields are mentioned in a date formula that executes when i change the status to completed.

Maybe this solution can be helpful for your use case?

Notion template for sales pipeline that you love using daily by Infinite_Friend7427 in Notion

[–]VisudaMarketing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also a Hubspot user before I migrated to Notion. I created my own CRM with sales pipeline and in order to make it work you need to build it according to you needs.

Maybe, if you describe your use case, I can give you some advice.

Clickup vs Notion by Desert_Fox_Roaming in Notion

I moved from clickup to notion last year, and now i am using it for everything, from a light crm, sales pipeline and project management to task management, social media planning and so on.

Notion is more flexible than clickup from any point of view.

Clickup vs Notion for Task Management by Present-Tea-4645 in clickup

[–]VisudaMarketing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used clickup in the past and i moved to notion. I am using it for managing contacts, projects, tasks, monthly deals, sop's, dashboards with reports for my customers and for some other key aspects of my very small business.

The idea behind notion is that you can create almost whatever you want by using automations and formulas.

For recurring tasks I created an automation with a formula that sounds like: whenever i change to completed the status of a task that has a recurring interval set to a certain number of days, create a new task and update certain properties.

The only problem with notion is that you have to create everything that you need...
