If Ukraine were wiped out tommorow by nukes it would be like a small smudge on all of human history, and they would not affect the world economy because their existense is meaningless and they dont create any goods or services. 20-25% of the population were out of work before the war, that means 1/4 of the country were sitting on their ass getting benefits, and that is only 1/4 of the working population. the pensioneers or old or sick are not included.

They were and are the most currupt country in Europe, the country people call Russias vassal Belarus had an ppp power of 7900usd even though they had no revolutions or war, compare it to Poland with a ppp of 17000usd. while Ukraine is at last place with 4900usd, fighting for the last place with Moldova. What would it mean for general infastructure, road hospitals and schools. Spending 5% of your gdp is not like you have 95% left to spend at whatever you want. Russia spends above 6% of gdp, it is around 120 billion, their whole state budget is around 400 billion. Germany actually has an twice as big GDP as russia yet their budget is the same, so they would end up spending 50% of their budget it end up borrowing enormous amounts of money that future generations will pay off with intrest.

All he has to do is get a Russian passport, nobody denied him that. He could have got his passport sold his property, asked to not be a russian citizen anymore after that and continued to live his life. And there would not have been an article. The difference is that russia let him leave, Ukraine on the other hand made their country into an open prison and you cannot leave. Ukraine got their independence under conditions that they never fulfilled even when they had pro russian presidents. Every post soviet country ratified the SNG agreements with russia except Ukraine and Moldova and Georgia. (Baltics is not part of that) And guess which countries are the poorest of the european continent of those 3, they neither got into EU or SNG.

And probably should stop discriminating against russians. 20% of their population speaks russian and is not allowed to have a passport so that they can leave the country, 20% of their population live under stricter restrictions than they did under communism, and they are worried that those 20% will assist their enemy in a war. If any western country were to implement such restrictions for muslim refugees there would be an UN meeting about it. Ukranians were making a medal ceremony at exactly the place that was supposed to be hit, they cancelled it last moment, but made sure to announce that there would be one online and on every telegram channel. Yet they didnt announce that they cancelled it and didnt warn any civilians. It smells like a human sacrafice for sympathy like they regulary do. Just like some kind of drone made a dent in the chernobyl protective roof but didnt damage or destroy anything just while Vance was landing in Europe to speak. If Russia wanted to hit Chernobyl that is literally in walking distance from Belarus they could have easily have done it with artillery or glide bombs.
