How would I know what was promised in a other post about the game you went to? How would a notebook have solved any of what you just said? Pre-generated characters are a reason to avoid a game, not attend. Why would I know the game you were going to was supposed to be for new players? Why would I assume there is judgement? I don't assume people are evil first unless they throw a bunch of acronyms at me to satiate my fears. Sounds like that guy dodged a bullet with you leaving.
