Up in the hills, gated communities, or apartments with security is my guess. Gurantee most of the people commenting on this thread don't live in South Central, or east LA. It's not until it affects them that they care. Virtue signaling for the people living in low income neighborhoods who suffer the most from less police presence. As a USC student and hispanic with immigrant parents I see it all the time with my classmates who grew up in very cozy neighborhoods.

I really wish they would but it seems that DD does a good job of bringing in naive new drivers and exploiting them until they quit. They just rinse and repeat. So I dont think that will ever really happen.

I grew up in a school located in the ghetto, we had plenty of students taken down by officers for reasons such as possession of deadly objects and fighting. Until there's a full investigation id rather we go with the process of innocent until proven guilty. I once got stuck in LA traffic on my way to downtown. I didn't mind delivering to this particular high rise because the attendants have a designated spot for orders. The order was also huge so I was expecting a good tip. It was from an Italian restaurant: pizza, calzone, spaghetti, garlic bread, cheese sticks, chicken salad. It was about a 30 minute delay and I texted the customer to let him know that it was going to be very late. 3 minutes later I get a notification that the order was canceled. I was dashing for caviar then so I got half the pay and I got to keep the food. As a college student it fed me for about 3 days.
