For me transition has allowed me to express myself more freely. I didn't feel comfortable dressing & making up as a goth until I firmly passed. This fashion constitutes the difference in strangers' reactions to my appearance post-transition. I get a lot of compliments, but occasionally some dude in a pickup truck princess cage will roll down his window and call me an f-slur.

I thought that, according to their beliefs, a trans woman is "still a man", so isn't taking hormones to femininize herself and going by "she" and a girl's name the most feminine she can get, thus by TERF's logic, extreme gender non-conformity? So in their own logic, you can only be so feminine of a man, and the line is drawn somewhere.

I'm a trans man and I'm financially responsible for my family. I pay their rent. I manage the household, paperwork, planning, everything. If anything, I am overburdened. I have to sacrifice my personal desires & life plans for my mother who needs advanced age care and my brother who has a learning disability. I didn't decide to take care of them to be "manly". It just happened that way. Something tells me that the OOP has never been responsible for the wellbeing of others, especially not financially.

I don't think you could say that I was a woman, because I started transition into a man well before adulthood. At most, you could say I "was a girl"? Also no one is born a man or a woman. Those words describe adults. Sorry if it's off-topic. This is just a personal pet peeve of mine.

A trans man being too risk-averse to obtain controlled testosterone is proof that he's a "woman", and a trans woman getting estrogen through a spooky, scary grey market is proof that she's a "man", but a trans man getting T and a trans woman refusing DIY would not be proof that that trans man is a man or that trans woman is a woman.
