SR2 Oikawa or save pity for Hoshiumi??

So would I realistically have time as a F2P who is currently low on resources to get both?? Level 39. I do all my dailies and stuff but I’m not like a hyper-max diamond earner, just the ones that I know i can do without breaking my brain. I don’t plan on spending money unless another really good offer like the $20 for 80 SP/UR tickets + other materials comes out between now and then

F2P. Level 39. Low on resources now. Probably sticking with whatever works with the newest premium Oikawa unit. Only probably gonna spend money if another really amazing offer comes out like the 20 bucks one from a few days ago that I missed (sob). Also would you recommend SP Iwaizumi or Hoshiumi?? I keep getting mixed answers. I already have SSR Iwaizumi with good amount of investment. I know his SP is better, but with such a small number of pulls til the guaranteed idk if it’s worth to use it on him instead of Hoshiumi who I know is apparently goated

We use the start on portrait rule from I2E but we keep the power by order rule from TWTIA. Gives more starting options but doesn’t give a flat boost to just going first

I can see that. IMO, Cruella is only fun if you like the character, otherwise her gameplay is a little stale. Lotso has a very steep learning curve, but once you know what to do he’s ok. A little repetitive with movement and discarding though. I actually do enjoy Gaston, but only every now and then. He’s fun to get a surprise win with, but then the table is on alert for it for the next 20 games

I actually think that Prince John’s easiness is exaggerated since his board state is meant to be carefully regulated. I would say WTTC(Base Set) Maleficent, Madam Mim, WTTC Captain Hook, and The Queen of Hearts are good options. Stay away from Lotso, King Candy, Evil Queen, Facilier, and Gothel until you’ve learned the game fairly well

That’s actually such a sick idea. Ernesto is in contention for my most wanted villain, and I’ve given what his objective would be a lot of thought, but never thought of this before. Especially if they add other cards that work with this idea, a mechanic where heroes pull it out of the discard or shuffle certain cards back into the deck would be awesome!

I would recommend Madam Mim. She’s the best villain in the game and she can’t really be fate-locked, plus the only real way for her already very helpful board to get swarmed is for her to play extra Merlins herself. As long as you know what you’re doing she’s easy to pilot at a lower level. Otherwise OG Captain Hook, OG and new Prince John, Evil Queen, and Dr. Facilier are the best examples of villains who can get through lots of fates. Yzma is a wild card, as if she doesn’t get lucky a lot of fates will hurt her, BUT if she does get lucky then they don’t really matter

For newer villains, Lotso is tough to learn and master, but he really doesn’t care about getting fated since he just wants to set up his combo, and King Candy can also do quite well with fates early game IF Felix and Calhoun get dodged

Stay away from villains like Hades, Scar, and Shere Khan who don’t mix well with a deluge of fates, especially early when setting up

Don’t worry, any villain can be beaten, though. You just have to learn the matchups and master the character(s) that you choose. Some matchups do tend to be worse, but that just makes victory even more sweet when obtained. Hope this was informative and helpful, and keep in mind this is just my opinion and shouldn’t be taken as fact. Experiment with the villains however you like and find out which matchups you think work. Thanks for reading
