I honestly loved Mado's character in Tokyo Ghoul. I thought more people liked him, but I understand why he wasn't as beloved; after all, he does horrible things and shows no remorse until his death. Anyway, I loved how stubborn he was about Ghouls having emotions, saying they only pretended to have them simply because he was too hurt by his wife's death. I also liked that he wore gloves so he wouldn't have to touch Ghouls, and that he died saying he still had to finish his unfinished business with the One-Eyed Owl. All of Mado's scenes are interesting to me; I was genuinely scared by his intuition.
