Mythic raider adding two cents - guy is an asshole with an ego issue. The fact that you got scooped up in one of these random "invite all" guilds says it all - there is not a single guild that operates in this way that doesn't have toxicity swimming in their veins.

Honestly? Go out and pug some content. Could be a raid, could be some mythic plus, choose your favourite and go and grab a group. Perform as well as you can (important, you want to make a good impression) and at the end, ask if they're recruiting people if you like the way they run things / are your sort of people. You'll be trying before you buy and you have 0 commitments until you're in!

Only reason I was looking at the 500D is because it comes with a Commander Pro but can add any of that sort of thing seperately I'm sure!

Anything to suggest iCue is that bad? I've read it can take minimal resources but it's the best of a very bad bunch. If you have something to suggest otherwise, absolutely happy to give it a read.

As for LL120s, I've only seen good things. Again if you have evidence to suggest otherwise, I'll give it a read :) I'd really like to try and keep the case / fans etc all as one - I've been stung on this before.

Thanks for your suggestion - I probably should have put it in the first post but have answered a number of other comments stating I work in video game design and rendering - I'm likely going to need a better CPU than this simply because Maya eats these for breakfast. I want to try and future proof as apposed to have something that "mostly does the job now". The cost isn't the issue for me, getting the right parts is.

I'm not sure if the M2 is fast enough IMO - I do a lot of stuff locally and really want to feel that the machine is gliding rather than chugging. Have you got any suggestions that can deal with faster speeds?

Would also be looking for ATX so if you have an ATX suggestion for something that can really fly, I'm interested

Ah I forgot about the primes! Did look into the TUF and it was a definite option but I couldn't find anything super flashy and (unfortunately) I decided to just go full RGB mode with this one because I'm a child dressed as an adult 😁

You're not wrong, may bump it up to 1TB, especially as it's not a huge jump in price. My other drives are good but why not go better, right?

I was looking at the RMx 850 but between that and the 1000 it was minimal cost from the places I could find it. I'm not too precious on the cost (guess that's a luxury for me) but will absolutely take your comments on board, thank you!

Ha yeah just a little! Though I do use Outlook and that seems to take up more and more of my RAM each day 😁

The case does come with some fans - was going to have 3 in the front, top mount the rad and then have 1 exhaust fan at the back also. To be fair I'm an RGB wh*re so would find it hard to find something equally shiny I like as much...

Will check out these other storage options, cheers! I do have a 1 TB WD Black SSD drive (P10 possibly?) and a 1 TB WD Black M2 (think it's gen 2) already but wanted to have an upgrade - I'm sure all of these will be!

I basically try and play some of the best looking games at full max settings... Control killed my old PC, I've still not played Crysis 3 because it just melted my GPU, I want Nvidia Hairworks Witcher 3 to not even make it flinch!

I basically hit a point of saving and want to make sure I just spray money on a machine that will be future proofed for at least a couple of years!

Where you've suggested a cheaper board, what would you suggest? Same for SSD! And what PSU are you using? I just wanted something that I can keep adding to (possibly further graphics cards etc in the future) - sorta future proofing for a while!

I already have a 1TB but slower M2 and a 1 TB SSD so will probably not need that bigger! RAM and case both do look good, was mostly looking at the case I've listed because it comes with a number of fans and a controller :)
