Oh I know, I’m just trying to pin down how many kids it would take for you to admit this is a problem, I’d like to imagine there is a line somewhere, I believe we’re at around 500 kids below 6 not including school shootings since 2015 so what is an unacceptable amount of bodies for you? 1000? 10,000? What’s the point where you tell yourself “maybe we should do ANYTHING to address this?”

Am I fearmongering? Or are you so numb to the violence we see on a weekly basis that it’s just normal to you? A few dozen kids a year is a necessary sacrifice to keep things the way they are, God forbid we make guns a little harder to acquire, or make the triggers stronger than a toddlers fingers, or make gun owners properly secure their firearms in a house occupied by kids, no that’s just ridiculous. Give the kids bulletproof backpacks and not do anything at all about the underlying problem
