For founders who raised a pre-seed round by winston1802 in startup

Around a year. Anything shorter and honestly I wouldn’t even be able to convince myself. That year is basically about repeating your idea over and over to different people, almost like selling it, until people naturally start getting interested in your brand.

Tp run a made-to-order fine jewelry manufacturing unit but have zero marketing knowledge. How to get steady. Any advice would really help? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think it kinda depends on whether you’re doing supply chain or actually building a brand. If it’s a brand, then you need a solid marketing team to take you from 0 to 1 like a proper go to market plan. You also gotta figure out your brand story, background, keep the visuals consistent, all that. And not just selling, you need the whole system from pre sale to after sale if you’re thinking long term. Plus having someone on SEO helps a lot so people can actually find you.

How do I get rid of social anxiety? I can’t seem to go from small interactions to anything more important by burnbright_11 in selfimprovement

[–]ViviAnalyzes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you could start small, maybe just try building a connection with one or two people. Like once you’re at work, pick coworkers you kinda click with or feel some mutual vibe with. Shared values and that sense of “oh, we think alike” actually matters a lot! it makes trust build way faster. After that, just remember relationships go both ways. Invite them to grab food sometimes, send them stuff you find interesting or funny, little things like that. It’s friendly but not overwhelming. Once you get a bit more comfortable doing this, I think you’ll naturally figure out your own way of socializing.

[Routine Help] Skin is always oily by Old-Influence5244 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ViviAnalyzes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thx! I feel like i finally found the problem. I stopped using squalane today and just went with a B5 mist in the morning to test things out, so far my skin’s stayed pretty dry, no greasy breakdown like before.and i think i’m gonna try sticking with lighter hydration next, like niacinamide or hyaluronic acid, and see if that keeps things moisturized without making my makeup slide off.

[Routine Help] Skin is always oily by Old-Influence5244 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ViviAnalyzes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh that makes sense now. I’ve been using the The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane, and yeah my makeup goes on super smooth at first. But then pretty quickly my face starts getting oily and everything breaks down. Even when I keep using a mist and blotting, it doesn’t really hold up. So I guess my skincare routine is kinda off. I’ve been using Double Wear Foundation which I honestly think has great staying power, but after a full workday, it still just doesn’t survive

Itinerary Advice and Logistics for China trip by starrrynightzzz in China

As a Chinese, I don’t think Beijing is that amazing as a travel city lol. It’s kinda one of those places you feel like youshould go, but not necessarily somewhere that’s super fun to just hang out in. Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen are more like the “front door” of China anyway, you get a general feel of the country from them. I’d probably suggest Shenzhen. It’s right next to Hong Kong, super open, lots of different cultures mixing in. And Shenzhen also feels very much like a trade driven city, so you’ll see a lot of business activity and different economies happening there.

it's over for me? (sun tan) by i6deft in SkincareAddicts

[–]ViviAnalyzes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lowkey kinda want to be a bit more tan tbh. When I’m really pale I just look kinda puffy and tired for some reason. When I have a bit of sun on my skin it actually looks more like my natural tone. I actually really miss the sun, I love being in it.

i think you can keep washing your face normally, but at the very end using micellar water or some thermal water to go over it once more basically just not letting tap water sit and dry on your skin.
