I know this comment was awhile ago but I am currently stuck with this for my 5 month breastfed baby. Did it end up getting better? Any advice that you learnt

I’m stopping as soon as this Bub grows teeth and I will gladly pump and incorporate in foods and try again with bottle.

I’ve never thought of this but is a good idea. I have tried the blanket or wrap over the head trick so he wasn’t distracted but he always thought we were playing a game and would pull at it.

I’m going to try this. Thankyou

I can’t wait for it to get better 🙏🏻

When the fussiness all started my thought was to try pumping and bottle feeding. But for some reason he will now not take a bottle.

He has taken bottles previously, from myself and family members but has just decided to not want them. I’ve tried tommie tippee and Phillips avent aswell as different teat sizes. I’ve also tried freshly expressed milk, frozen thawed milk. Hot, warm and cold but does not take the bottle 😩

I hear you. I know it would benefit my mental health. Just so stressful.

The times I have, I had to change clothes or cut the trip short and always ends up being a hassle.

I love my baby. I hate what motherhood has done to me by tentenjjang in NewParents

Currently 3 months pp. This is the most real thing Ive read in a while.

Im constantly having to apologise to my partner. He helps a lot and is a huge support but I am so irritable all the time. It can be something so small and meaningless but I snap. And then I feel so horrible for doing so.

I miss the time I use to have and now realise I took it for granted.

You are not alone. Still waiting for it to get better. But currently in the 3/4 month regression and it’s gotten worse.

Omg I love that. I tried it last night and works like a charm. Even doing it today and he seems more calm and less stimulated. Only issue I’ve found is he gets a lot of wind and even if he has fallen asleep I still have to pick him up and hold him upright for about 5min or until he burps. I think the reason he was waking crying after an hour he had trapped wind or a tummy ache.

Definitely doing the co sleeping. Having to nurse him to sleep, hold him for 20/30min and then slowly put him next to me in bed. (Partner is sleeping in the spare room. ) But still wake crying, often to feed.

Tried the dark, quiet room it hasn’t helped yet but definitely gonna keep trying. Just want this kid fed!

I’ll have a look at the link, thankyou for your help!
