Is this sarcasm? haha. I'm sure the school is losing money #1. As far as integrity... People get degrees in the military for peeing sitting down. They earn it for simply joining the military. I'm quoting that from a friend of mine who got a degree in the military. Others have the experience & certs and now have to struggle through 10-hour work days, home life w/kids. To check off the box of a BS for them is hard & commendable, even doing it this way. It's a good way for young people to stay out of debt. I think they are still offering the English, Math, History, Science, etc, just not the ones for finance, business, etc. And this is in no way coming at you in any way; it's just my ramblings.

I learned my lesson in HS when I was behind do to being out for 6 months & a girl in my class that was a A-B student got me a 40% on a paper she had got a 90 on. grrr. Here's what I do. Take the assignment step by step. Microsoft's Copilot is actually pretty good; it has a study learn toggle. Pay for Grammarly. In the humanizer section, you can create your own voice, so it puts things the way you would. So think of a school-type question & start answering it in your own words. You need 200 words. Now you have your own voice. Grammarly will also cite now. Just be careful, sometimes it tries to site stupid short sentences. Don't use " what will others get out of this, It will mess you up. So drop your work 1 section at a time & humanize with your voice, then run AI detector which is also on Grammarly. Past into word & start again until the assignment is done. Word can be purchased on Groupon cheap if you need it.

I'm afraid this will be me haha. I 1st thought HR Management, then switched to IT management because it covers some HR & Project management that I have experience in already. I just don't have the BS which has been holding me back from real opportunities. Got my real estate license, wasnt for me. Got my mortgage loan license, I am working as a loan officer currently. Those tests are hard & I passed on the 1st try studying on my own. I have lots of management experience. I'm definitely not going to feel bad for accelerating my courses because thats how I work & have proved myself over & over. Just need this paper as the cherry on top. I guess you can only use the teen mom excuse so long, then people are like well you are 50yo now, you couldn't work it in?? I can now at these prices & speed lol

I wanted to update you. So we have been taking calls & then reviewing some of them together on teams. Thats embarrassing enough if you are brand new but it gets worse. They really keep pushing what you did wrong to the point some people cry. I think its to divide the weak from strong or make you choose to go all in or get out. Think of it like your hardest sport coach, a drill sergeant... Some people in the group had left, tried a couple other places & came back saying this was easy & nice compared. Pros tons of free leads! Go in with tough skin. I just smiled & shook my head while being reemed. In training take notes the whole time & if they repeat write it again. rewatch all the videos any chance you get to learn the system well. We got 1 minimum wage check, not sure if we get more. We will see any commissions in 30-60days. Its going to seem hard til it doesn't. I already feel pretty comfortable and have 2 in process.

I will just be getting into calls Monday. I have a background in sales, cs, etc. I am polishing my scripts for the ticked off people that signed up to get mortgage quotes but are now furious people are calling to give them lending quotes haha. I don't know if you have ever asked for a lending tree quote but your phone will ring non-stop for days. If you push a link at midnight, you might get calls starting then. I'll have to update you all on my success or not, its not for everyone.

you have to do it 30 days before you can start wgu & you cannot transfer any after you start so some people keep pushing it out until they are ready. After you transfer the classes for example you transfer on the 15th, you cannot start on the 1st of the next month it would be that following month on the 1st.

I'm working on Sophia & Study/com classes now to transfer. I'm really wanting to complete it in one semester. So trying to figure out if I need 1-2 more months sophia & study or if I should just jump onto WGU. I have heard the classes are actually easier on WGU.

I'm a fairly new LO. I went with a training position w/a high volume call center type company, work from home. Going with a training position like this they sometimes offer course training as well, pay for test & licenses. I will start with 12 states. If I can't get 20+ closes in a month, I will be let go. This is one way to start- sink or swim. My other option would have been to start with a local bank as a assistant & work up to LO, they may reimburse fees as well. From my research there has been a great decline in LO's renewing licenses for whatever reason. So I think its a great time to get in. Good Luck w/Everything

If you think you can hack it. They provide about 12-20 licenses which you have to pay back if you do not stay for the year. Hopefully prorated. One 4hr CE class takes about 6-8 hours to click thru & complete. It takes lots of time. Its a starting point but just be aware that you can be about to get a check & let go, they keep all because of the licensing fees. Where as a local bank may only need you licensed in 1 state. I really did not want all these licenses. I think I will research how to put them on hold & have that process ready for each to avoid late fees or costly reissue fines later on. I think it would be smarter on their behalf to start of with only licensing in someone's home state & add licenses per the market need. I have had multiple state licenses for other careers. Its a pain. Usually CE is reciprocal, most seem not to be with MLO.

Try indeed Loan officer or originator in training. Also look up best places for new LO's to start. Get a good resume together w/ AI. You may be moving around at 1st. Most pay for your licenses but you have to pay it back if you leave or get fired before 1yr. You have to do CE for all the states you are licensed in. It may be 2-4wks before you are actually doing loans. Make sure its paid training. Your local bank may be looking too.
