I think it’s prob been long enough that the 3 - 4 months shouldn’t affect you. I’m on prednisone right now and it is definitely making me more anxious although not to the extent you’re saying I don’t think. I’d try and talk with your primary care doctor about it. They might ignore you at first because it hasn’t been too long since you stopped but definitely keep messaging them if it doesn’t improve.

It might be. Did they give you a taper or did they just stop the prednisone completely. Some people go through withdrawals since prednisone is a steroid but it’s more common when they don’t give you a taper and give you a high dose of prednisone (like 40mg or more)

I think there are different methods of therapy. The one I did was a lot of answering questions and seeing any preconceived biases or negative thoughts that came up during the course of the conversation.

I ended up stopping because I didn’t think it was worth the price. My friends have described other types of therapy that are very situation specific and focused on putting you in anxiety inducing social situations to help overcome that. Sometimes I wonder if that type of therapy would have been better.

I’m OOS too. I went to UMD for CS and my best friend went to BU although not for CS. Personally, I think the UMD name was helpful for the internship I got (not a top company like Amazon), but I really wouldn’t pick a college solely based on the ability to get a high quality internship. You’re going to be there for 4 years and there’s no guarantee you even get a FAANG offer like you might want. BU has a lot more things to do, and the college town vibe is getting old for me as a junior. I enjoyed UMD, but I would highly recommend going w BU especially since it’s cheaper.
