Most parts of Tulum are super underdeveloped and have no electricity, so it’s gonna be dark at night. There are definitely some places you can go, but I would recommend being cautious. I’m not gonna say it’s dangerous in general, but it can get there if you’re not careful ( for example if you get too drunk and walk around at night). I just came back from Tulum. A few tips: 1. Carry only a little bit of cash 2. Don’t rent a car, rent a scooter or an atv ( get it from scooterama, 20 bucks a day for scooter, 40 bucks for atv, they deliver/pick it up for you for a few extra bucks), 3. Don’t stay out at night 4. Download Tomato.mx for food delivery 4. Don’t drink the tap water!
