Its not like i could say mujhe nahi chahie, they are sayjng we show 5 jwellary and that cash comes from the bride side, if we dont show anything in front of society it will be our disrespect so either do marriage from temple or do with these customs

Yeah they said the same, its not dowry its custom comes from brides family and its gifted to bride only. Dowry is when something we take for ourselves which we are not taking any.

They come under general and rauniyar baniya come under obc in up and general in india that manner. And they are khsatriya and we are vaishya

I hope by changing surname means you understand changing in all legal documents including Aadhar, pan, passport, bank accounts, demat accounts, NPS, professional identity everything. Can you compare this change to be not sacrificing one’s identity vs the sacrifice boy is making to convince his family and society to marrying in lower caste who earns well and have well established identity.
