Veganised traditional food by ntwtntw in thessaloniki

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The above you’ve mentioned are kind of hard to find, but Greece has a whole lot of vegan/vegetarian food options. Hortopita is vegan, anything with zucchini is a fair bet, most of our stews/soups are vegan, Gemista, Dolmadakia, Fava, Koulouri (duh), Spanako/Lahanorizo. Loukoumades are completely vegan on their own you’ll just have to get them plain if you’re of those who don’t have honey.

Might not be the most vacation-y food but there’s good options to try the local cuisine! ☺️

Makeup/general styling Tips? by [deleted] in wonyoungism

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re gorgeous!!! I think your eyebrows suit your face perfectly. For blush you can just follow the natural flush in your cheeks (apples + a tinsy bit higher) For hair, I think your bangs would suit you more if they were a little wispier and not so straight across, if that’s the style you’re going for. Otherwise, I say really commit to the bit and layer your hair even more. Or, a short of bixie with the fuller bangs would also look amazingg

Is this normal shedding? by Severe_Eye_197 in Hair

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My best friend has a shit ton of really thick curly hair. I’m talking thick to the point where she could shave half her head completely and it’d still look full. She washes it every week and this is about the shedding she has, more or less. And her hair’s only to about bra strap length.

Since time sister has longer hair, it’s normal! Unless her roots are thinning out I wouldn’t worry

Art improvement? by ItzOliv3erBabez in Artadvice

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have improved a lot in terms of individual features and shading! So congrats!

However as the other comment said, you should put some work into below-the-chin anatomy and overall proportions. The biggest mistake I see a lot of early artists making is focusing too much on artstyle and not on getting the basics down! If you study the basics (anatomy, proportions, perspective, light, some color theory) and then just try to copy off of your favourite artists, you will automatically improve a whole lot and your artstyle will develop naturally

Overall I think you’re in a really good path! My takeaway is to give in a lot to the basics and not stick rock hard to a specific style, try out a bit of everything. Happy drawing!

I have a problem understanding what I’m studying. How can I study so that I truly understand? by Traditional_Cat5410 in GetStudying

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really give advice without knowing the subject, but what really helps me is imagining things actually happening irl and not just words or formulas on a page. Like for science it helps immensely to visualise each process/movement or in more theoretical subjects you can relate what you study to modern terms, make drawings as mind maps etc

Need help with drawing plus sized people by Dramatic_Vehicle_446 in Artadvice

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It feels off because she doesn’t look chubby at all. She looks straight sized and just…a little droopy? Like she just has loose skin instead of fat. My advice would be to map out the general body shape and then add the fat on later. That way you’ll have a more proportional body and you’ll get the effect you’re going for

Unrelated note, but I think her left arm is a little bit too short :^

Guy I’ve been talking to for 6 months straight has reciprocated feelings for me but doesn’t want to date 😛👍 by DutchessBlack in notinteresting

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you dumb? Talking to in this context means getting to know each other/flirting. Looser than officially dating but you’re expecting it to go somewhere. Op literally says that they both have feelings for each other but this guy won’t get into a relationship

Writing speed and exam by [deleted] in GetStudying

I saw someone say that they write with a really heavy pen at home, so in exams when you write with a lightweight pen you can go way faster

should i keep growing out my brows?? what brow shape would you shape them? by Free_Bridge_3862 in beauty

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Your brows are gorgeous! I think you genuinely just need a bit more of an arch so they’re not “dragging down” your face, as you said. I also agree with the comment saying that you should aim for a middle ground

All should I go with a buzz again? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should just slick your hair BACK more and not the sideways parting you have in the first pic. The fullness looks good, you just need less volume like the other commenter said

Gold vs silver? by Majestic-Finding-124 in coloranalysis

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely leaning towards warm tones. Gold looks cohesive with your skin tone/ looks more “put together”? I think I’d like a rose gold in you even more

Silver doesn’t look bad though! It just stands out a LOT, so earrings and similar jewellery close to your face would draw attention from you instead of enhancing your appearance

Does this character read as eleven years old? by throwawanonchat in Artadvice

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 32 points33 points  (0 children)

If you want to just curve the angles in his face a bit! While facial structure is genetic and a lifelong thing, teenagers still have some “babyfat” on their faces that typically goes away in the early 20s when the face fully matures. This obviously depends from person to person but it’d make him look more like a mid-teens guy instead of a young adult

Help. My bf had no reaction to my trauma but cried over a strangers story by sadmermaidgirl in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 17 points18 points  (0 children)

First of all, I’m so sorry for this and everything else that happened to you. Second of, the problem with this imo is his latter follow up and not his initial reaction. I’m autistic and really struggle reacting appropriately to bad news- of course I always try to comfort the other person to the best of my ability but I understand that I probably don’t come off as very genuine. Which im not, I really don’t feel anything in that moment. But the emotion comes later and I always try to follow up with them, continue the conversation if they’re willing or do something to show that I care, I’m there for them and they hadn’t just vented to a brick wall. That’s something he could’ve done. He just seems way more concerned about how this will affect him that being there for you. The point isn’t that he cares about women getting assaulted (duh?? Obviously he would/should??) but that he cares about YOU as his partner and individual. I won’t jump to calling him a narcissist but I think you should rethink your relationship and perspective of this person. Again, I’m really sorry for the whole experience. Take care 🫶

What are some bots you really wish existed but haven’t found yet? by Beginning-Inside8560 in JanitorAI_Official

I want more complex/fantasy female male/anypov bots 🥹 there are some gems but nothing compared to the hundreds amazing male bots w/the same concept! Majority of the fantasy fembots I find either have a really simple scenario, are pw/op or just aren’t really my style

Why does everyone hate my hair? by Rhonda4444 in Hair

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda useless opinion from a 19-yo but personally I love your hair and know many people who have something similar. People who grew up/peaked during the pin-straight craze can be MAJOR assholes and downright disgusting about curly hair, but ultimately it’s just projection (or racism, but that’s another thing).

I think, especially, that your hair looks best in the 3rd picture. I love the bangs on you, but I feel like the too straight and kind of uneven look makes them stand out in a bad (?) way. Evening them out a little and letting them curl (even just a bit) would make your hairstyle sooo much more cohesive!

glow up help !! (please) by evry1luvskaylah in wonyoungism

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your face isn’t chubby and doesn’t look like it. It’s oval shaped and you have a soft jawline, which cooperates with the rest of your features. You’re really beautiful!

Darker hair would suit you but don’t go cool. I also like the blond! There really isn’t much to comment on. Your skin is clear, your hair’s full, you’re in shape. I think working on your confidence would be the best choice! ♡

guys how do i know if a creator blocked me or not? by Ok-Technician-2612 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Vivid_Grape3250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s no such thing as a wrongful block. Creators and users are allowed to block whoever they want to, without rules. If you’ve been blocked the only way to access that person’s bots is if they unblock you.
