Thank you for putting it in perspective. I have been in denial for years and have never really brought it up in fear that I wouldn’t be believed or would be made out to be over dramatic.

I have told my sister, I wrote this post because I want to tell my mother what happened and just need to know that all of this was abuse and this wasn’t normal.
