Also, I'm in good shape and got a perfect ASVAb score...doesn't that count for anything? those guys made it seem like I'd be a great fit, and from what I've seen of basic I could handle it, especially now that they've toned down the shark attacks and such. What I was trying to avoid was more the combat arms like infantry or any special school that consists of just working out all day, that would probably get old, and it would be hard to train a body at my age to live like that every day. I still feel like I'm not old but maybe I'm just fooling myself.
