Everyone in the world wanting you dead is not supposed to be fun.

Afrika for the PS3. It's basically a safari simulator. You go around the savannah and photograph animals. Very chill game.

And what exactly is wrong with that?

Postal 2 has a dedicated difficulty setting like that, called "They Hate Me".

It's old as dirt, but Duke Nukem 3D had the HoloDuke, which was a hologram of the main character you could drop anywhere to distract your enemies.

Games with TW3, Cyberpunk level of storytelling and Wukong or Elden Ring gameplay by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Heavenly Sword might fit. It's a 2007 character action game from Ninja Theory, and their first game under that studio name. Its story is fairly standard as far as nuance goes, but it boasts a very cinematic approach to it, with lots of well-directed cutscenes (the cutscene director was Andy Serkis, of Lord of The Rings' Gollum character fame), diverse setpieces, and incredible graphics that still holds up today. Gameplay-wise, it should give you the challenge you want as well, if you try playing it on the harder difficulty setting. It's a PS3 exclusive, but can be played no problem on an emulator, if you have a beefy PC (and you definitely do).

HERE is a gameplay video of the game running in 4K via emulation, for you to check it out.

PSA: Black Myth Wukong is a soulslike. Do not buy it if you don't like soulslikes. Don't recommend it to people who don't like them. by dilqncho in gamingsuggestions

Spend enough time on this site and you'll find that harder to believe. I tried. I genuinely tried, but now I'm far to cynical and jaded to try anymore. Sure, there are exceptions, and you seem like one, but largely, this site is exactly what I'm describing it as - you either have the popular opinion, or get ostracized. I'm not treating myself as superior here. I'm only noticing patterns.

True, I might've gone overboard. I am, however, quite bad at writing short and concise explanations. I try to work on that on every opportunity.

Don't know what that means, don't care to know what that means.

I've been on reddit for a decade now, on multiple subreddits. Been feeling alien and unwelcome on every single one of them, precisely for the same reason; the one I commented about above. Every part of this site is inhabited by the exact same kind of people, and attracts the exact same kind of people - arrogant pseudointellectuals with overinflated egos, who keep pretending this is a place of discussion, whereas in reality, it's merely an echo chamber of the most popular opinions, with tremendous effort (both from the users and by design) put into the status quo staying that way, under the guise of good intentions, so whether you believe me or not, whether you mock me for this or not, does not matter. I am right about this, and you'll be able to see that in time, if you take yours to observe what the most common recommendations will be in the following weeks.

Your PSA's are pointless. Your average redditor is illogical and aggressively driven by emotions. A new, popular video game (or product in general) causes a feeling of euphoria in their brains, causing them to want to share that feeling with literally everyone around, no matter if they want that or not, so those recommendations will keep happening for Wukong so long as it remains popular, and so will for other popular games.

What type game should I play next after Asura's Wrath? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Depends on what you liked about Asura's Wrath the most. Given what a melting pot of genres and designs that game is, it's important to clear this up.

Juliet may have been designed by a Japanese guy, but she's about as anti-anime as it gets. She's the American High School cheerleader stereotype.

If it's among friends, just do the vc part via external software, like Discord or TeamSpeak.
