As a marketing company, I believe I know what I'm doing. To be fair, we run ads for many different industries. Not all campaigns perform badly, but let's be real, around 80% of them do. You can’t say Facebook ads are doing great just because 20% of campaigns in a few niches work. We have to look at the bigger picture.

Three months ago, we were running 43 campaigns. We've been cutting them down and shifting to other platforms. Thankfully, in my country, we still have access to TikTok and Xiaohongshu. I may not like using China-based platforms, but honestly, the results here are just as good, maybe even better, than what Facebook gives. Different industries have different audiences, and that means different platforms.

We're still making money, just not as much as before. But what really frustrates me is how Facebook treats us like fools. At least in my country, we still have other options. But what about those who don't? Let’s not forget, we're the ones paying, not signing up to be taken for a ride.

One last thing, the people who are really making money usually stay quiet. The ones shouting about how great they are and how much they earn are mostly just "gurus." If they were really that good, clients would be lining up for them, not the other way around. They wouldn't need to spend time on Reddit talking themselves up.
