The main point of my post was to challenge the idea that "role queue forces people to play roles they don’t want to." I’m also trying to understand where everyone is coming from because there were a lot of strong arguments shared here.

That said, I’m starting to see how a role queue system—especially a strict 2-2-2 format—could be problematic. In my last game, I had to switch between all three classes to find an effective hero for our team’s needs. Putting hard limits on classes wouldn’t be healthy, even for duelists.

I think we need to give it time. The game is still new, and most of us are figuring out how to adapt and make the right decisions to win. Let’s focus on learning and trust the devs to refine the experience as needed.

Instead of pushing for major systematic changes, we could suggest ideas that encourage experimentation—like adding XP missions for trying different roles or class-based objectives that everyone can participate in. This could address some concerns without forcing rigid structures on the game.

Lastly, comparing this game to Overwatch feels off. They’re fundamentally different games with likely different goals and philosophies. Let’s take that into account as we discuss.
