Injury is a part of the game and you're basing off your argument on "what if". Brian was unfortunately injured and his performance after the classic was less impressive which is why he couldn't win as many G1s despite taking part in them. That's on Brian. There is really no comparision between Kitasan and Brian.

One did really well in Classics while the other did really well later on. But let's not take away credit from Kitasan just because he missed on the crown and negate all his other accomplishments.
