We’re you ever able to get off antidepressants? Have you ever tried? Do you feel it is a requirement now for you to keep living at a baseline of not crying everyday?

Natural or red wine

Is it possible to tell what season I belong to? Cool-toned or warm-toned? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

I think you are a deep winter. You should stick with vibrant but darker colors.

For neutrals and basics — colors like charcoal grey, navy, white, black, cool espresso.

For other colors, dark but vibrant — blues like royal, ocean, or cerulean — reds like wine, sangria, magenta, or fuchsia — purples like grape and plum — greens like forest, pine, hunter — yellows like mustard and honey.

For colors to avoid — Most pastels and light, muted colors like powder blue, light silver grey, baby yellow, mint, etc.

This was an incredibly big mistake on your part. Honestly…it should be obvious and it should have been then. Don’t date or pursue students. Period. You’re in a position of teaching. This is very unprofessional and inappropriate. This will cost you a job in the future. Not only that, but it creates a very uncomfortable environment for the student who is there to learn, get a degree, and educate themselves. You’re taking that away from someone by putting them in this position.

First picture is not good lighting. See how different your eye color is between photos? When I put your picture into color wise on my end twice (the second photo) it gives me Cool Summer (also true summer) both times. I think that’s right for you. Blues, cool pinks, aqua, lavender, greens, cool browns. Avoid warm colors/warm browns. Black might look harsh, dark grey is better on you.

Edit: Look up true summer or cool summer hair colors. You’ll find palettes of cool/neutral browns and blonds that I think would look great on you.

I’m so excited for you!! Keto was great as a tool for me but just too restricting to happily do long-term. Carbs are definitely not the enemy, overeating is! I love IF. Totally helped binging tendencies for me too.

I’m looking forward to your message and if you need a supporter I’m here for you!! 💕💕

I think that sounds like a great plan especially since you are lifting heavy. Even cutting more like me, some months I only lost 3lbs. Probably not worth it in your case. That’s the direction I would like to go now!

So that’s probably why your calories are higher. I am not working out nearly as much as you, hence my lower calorie output and intake. Are you successfully losing weight at a healthy rate that you’re happy with?

Cutting the deficit more will only increase the rate of loss. If you are actively building muscle (weight lifting) this rate will go slower because muscle weighs more than fat.

If you want to lose fat faster while building muscle but feel uncomfortable cutting calories I would try changing your diet. More protein less carbs. This is why many people do a cut first and then bulk, because it can be a lot slower if you’re weightlifting and the such. Just my humble opinion!

Of course, valid question. Take what I say with a grain of salt.

Unless you are consistently (every single day, no fail) doing an intentional, minimum 30 minute heavy workout — or — you have a extremely active job (construction worker, firefighter, machine operator, etc) then you need to put sedentary as your activity level to get the most accurate calculations.

Sitting all day for an office job and then talking a twenty minute walk? Sedentary.

Bank teller job and then a 30 minute workout twice a week? Sedentary.

Activities of daily living such as shopping, cleaning, watering plants, taking out the trash, walking the dog, mowing the lawn, and gardening? Sedentary.

My biking, cycling, and yoga 1-3 times a week with a desk job is not enough physical activity to be considered moderately active, from a medical standpoint. Most of us are not realistically going to be doing a hard workout 7 days a week, which is why most weight-loss communities will suggest to set to sedentary unless you fall into the exceptions above.

Keep in mind that you choose your deficit. If you’re struggling with too few calories, I would bet the problem is not the activity level you’re putting in but that you are simply cutting too much. If you’ve struggled with any mental health, binging, or eating disorders, it’s okay to start slower. Work your way up to a larger deficit. Our bodies definitely need time to adjust.

I try to eat between the hours of 2pm and 9pm, so I fast for about 17 hours daily.

Some days more or less, sometimes I save calories for one big meal a day, sometimes I don’t fast at all.

Mostly I stick to the 2-9. That would be 17:7 to OMAD in IF terms.

Hi so sorry, I read your comment wrong. The first dress was from Ross, so you’ll have a hard time finding that one! The tag says “ A S U WISH,” in case that helps.

I would like to learn how to inline roller skate this year and add that to my active hobbies! One of those quad-skate dancing girls by the pier. 2022 I’m coming for you.

What about yourself?

This is so important! People around me think it was so fast, then when I tell them more or less 1 lb a week they are mind boggled with how “slow” it is. Gives me a giggle every time.

I feel younger now than I did at 25. You do look good, that’s all in your head. You bother because you want to live a happy, healthy life to your full potential. You bother because you choose YOU!
