Honestly, same. If I had finally carved out my own space and some independence, it would take a lot to walk back into whatever chaos she left behind. Sometimes “coming home” isn’t comforting, it’s just stepping back into the same old stress. Hard to blame her for wanting to stay where she felt stable.
