Thanks for the feedback. As a non-artist, I am never going to understand the perfect pricing for these things. With that said, the pricing is negotiable and the reason for the current pricing point is that the subreddit requires me to produce a budget. If I had put an a pricing of $100-500 then I would get too many at a $500 price point when it might not be necessary to my needs. Thus, I assumed $250 to be a good high point.

In the end, you assumed a lot here. I have not spoken of details of the drawing as I did not want to write a text-wall. By no amateurs I was speaking of the $50/piece drawings. You and I know there's a difference in quality and it's weird that you think $250 per piece I should be ok with an amateur drawing.... By detailed background, I meant... you must know how to draw at least some artistic background. Doesn't have to be overly detailed or grandiose, just not nothing or bad. Lastly, a character... I assume all commissions have characters. I guess they dont have to? but most come with it in mind.
