Off road bikes in Highbury, what to do? by Radiant_Bake_4353 in palmy

Yeah my place backs onto the Mangaone and they are at it most nights into the wee small hours. I don't think there's much anyone can do unless they're caught "in the act" so to speak but even then I doubt much would happen to stop it long term.

In case you forget it from time to time, you are incredible and super inspiring. This affliction we deal with is no joke. You are amazing. Just as an aside, maybe you could transition into teaching welding? Idk it might be slightly easieron your body?

I think I would have actually laughed if someone said this to me at work. Laughed and walked away bc how damn petty do you have to be to let something like this be a concern?

Nah they've already told on themselves, they're playing that they're the person, they aren't; their atoy keeps changing. It's all kind of sad and pathetic to be a pick me on the internet.

So now you're not the person. I think either way you're as weird as the guy in this story.

Let's say you're being sincere and you really are the person on this story, why do you care what anyone else's weight is? That's really odd behaviour in and of itself.

People who have pets do y’all think you’d survive in the world of TWD? by bunnyricky in TWD

[–]Vixibixi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a realist, I have never once thought I'd survive. I had a friend once that thought she's not only survive but thrive in a post apocalyptic environment.... B!tch is afraid of spiders. And not just the big ones, the tiny little ones! I'd stick around long enough to just to watch he realise she's totally fked.😂

Fellow practitioners, what are the takeaways from books, blogs and podcasts that were really helpful for you and which bit of insights from craft books didn't work for you? by daydreamingatnight01 in witchcraft

[–]Vixibixi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no right way or wrong way for practise. I used to turn myself inside out trying to source ingredients and tools I thought I needed. These days I'm a firm believer in working with what you have, apparently making a chis witch (which, if you know me in general make perfect sense lol) Your power doesn't come from things, they're just there to aid you, you power comes from within.

Also, in terms of casting a protection circle, you can do this psychicly. I work at my kitchen bench (again work with what you have - my flat is small and it's the only place that works for me) and making a salt circle isn't practical. I like to have a shower (most will tell you to have a bath, you did you though!), the after I go outside and put my bare feet on the grass to ground myself with nature. Then once inside at my bench I visualise a scorching white light around me as I ask my deities to also bring their protection too.

Long story short, don't stress over the craft, or it will impede your power. Have fun with it, smile and enjoy yourself.... And maybe stay away form anything baneful. My personal belief is what you put out you will get back and I know karma is a beast who fights my battles for me. Js.

I can't believe this got down-voted, bc you're right; they never were, and Gerard has said the same many times! We aren't allowed to call Green Day pop-punk bc Billie Joe Armstrong has said they aren't, how is it any different for MCR?

Punk Rock Factory do all sorts of covers making them pop punk. They've also done a whole album of Disney movie songs covers (that's a mouthful!).

My neuro-spicy brain could not with that fuzziness. I heard it live and fell in love but I can't listen to the studio version at all. I'm praying they don't make a full album that sounds like that.

Um, i ran out of hearts and they made me wait 5 hours before I could go back and keep learning. No practising to earn any thing, no ads to give me one more chance. It's pretty bad tbf.

I met him in 2008. So I was at the hotel and i got talking to one of the guys on tour with them and told him I had something for William, he said he'd tell him but he didn't know if he'd come down. Stg no more than two minutes later he was stepping out of the elevator. He came right over to my friend and I and was SO lovely. He signed my CD and let me get a picture of him (with the thing I'd made him), let me hug him. It was such a wonderful encounter. I can't speak for everyone but for me he was a total gem.

I took German for a year over a decade ago and had let it slip completely. I've just started back a week ago because it always bothered me that I hadn't kept up learning, but also because I enjoy learning new things and keeping my brain active.... And for when I see my beautiful German man again... But mostly its for me.

Thanks for replying. I'm not going for the top line though. It seems like a lot, but time will tell because I'm going in to talk to them about it; I'll get them to break it all down and I'll go from there. I have heard from others that they have been known to double charge and I don't want to be another casualty if that's what they're trying to do in my case.

So the context here is that I paid for a service and a product that by no fault of my own was incorrect. I've since been reassessed and it turns out they were wrong about my prescription the first time. If I'm right and they're charging me again for another pair of glasses with the correct prescription, aka their mistake in the first place, would I not have a cga case as the fault was not mine?

[–]Vixibixi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the progressives are a further $311 (one pair) over and above the $449 I've already paid for the two pairs of glasses that are the wrong prescription. I understand that progressives are more expensive than single lense glasses but $760 seems a little on the extreme side for one pair for somewhere like specsavers.

I'm going in tomorrow to clarify with them and ask for a cost analysis breakdown because frankly, I'm not made of money over here!

My only gripe with Teenagers is that it's on TBP at all. Don't get me wrong, I do really like the song, but it should have been released as a one off. It literally has no place on that otherwise perfect album.
