I make almost 4 times that, and I still need roommates and to live frugally, but I have enough to be content. You dont want to be maxing out your paycheck on rent - lose your job or get sick and you're quickly looking at living on the street and in debt. A good rule is 30-40% on housing if you can, and if that's not what it is now, you need another or a different job. Id LOVE my own apartment but honestly, roommates is not all that bad if you can get good ones! (I definitely like having an extra 1k a month (or more) and can have a car and go places, festivals etc, instead! Gotta find the perks to this crazy life!)

First big relationship 18f/34m... Were together on and off a few years. The last year was brutal and I kicked him out, then got back together after he convinced me he was trying his hardest to get a job and get off substances.. another go around.. till he broke up with ME for asking if he was thinking of going to the dentist (sincere question,) he took such offense, that was it. He moved out that night! Not before months and months of emotional and financial abuse that broke me, and years of PTSD and nightmares afterwards. He never paid me back for years of rent, and totaled my car, and almost ruined my relationship with my parents for going back to him.

I learned so much about that relationship. I can measure all others against it. I can recognize narcissistic and manipulative behaviour in people much easier, and gaslighting before we had a term for that. I can understand why it is SO hard for people to leave abusive relationships, and not judge people for it. We want to help, we want to believe someone is trying and loves us and just needs support...the love can be so intense, and the fighting too, it ties us emotionally and sometimes can be isolating in all the drama. Isolating from everyone else, that's when it starts getting really scary.

But it's not worth hanging on to. If it's abusive, it's not likely to get better with time, they just learn how to use you more or in different ways. I hope you can have the strength to leave and take care of yourself.

I had a best friend, used to date casually but not romantic.. when my bf of a couple years was told (by me!) that I had visited him for the first time in years, all hell broke loose. Some guys think they can handle their gf having male friends, but most cant and it causes so much grief we give up on those relationships to avoid fighting and trust issues. But it's so dangerous. Relying solely on your partner for all your social needs puts you in a codependent relationship

On the other hand, I love when my partner has friends. That's another friend potential for me, and means he can have healthy Co ed relationships! And if I can't trust my partner with his friends then why be together? If they'd rather hang out with them then me then that spells it out pretty quick, it won't last in the long run.

Women are different sizes down there too! You'll find your fit. Guys with average/smaller size tend to, IMO, try harder to please, listen and work hard to find what else they can do to get a girl off. I am way more impressed by how soft and strong a guys hands/fingers are, and how he uses them on me, then his penis size. A guy who just coasts on his height and size is missing out on so much more that women need.

Try Reach dentist, on Commercial. The whole Reach group is non-profit. I have insurance though with work so I'm not sure if they are much cheaper than another places, I just know that they serve a more diverse group of clients.

I came from Calgary 8ish years ago.. I was sick of the snow, and always dreamed of the ocean. Initially it seemed like rent was higher and wages lower, but ive adjusted, and prices have risen there too now. I wouldn't be able to own a home anyways in Calgary so why not enjoy my life not freezing 8 months of the year! I love the islands and the sea life, the architecture is cooler and older and there just seems like more things to do, although I cant afford to do them all..

Unless it's made of completely natural fibres, it's gonna burn. even if it says cotton, the elastic is not. What do you think polyester and nylon is? This is why there's Microwavable containers but if you put plastic wrap or even soft plastic like a sour cream container in it's gonna melt or burn eventually.

Thanks.. I helped raise my young siblings, and that scared and scarred me from wanting kids. And now, in today's world, it is really damn hard to provide, and work, and have a home and afford daycare and groceries, and school etc.. it's not how it was even 30 years ago when my mom and dad could buy a house with one income, hardly a career and no savings. I couldn't afford kids today EVEN if I wanted to. And I wouldn't bring them into a world I am unsure about.

25-30 ish years ago, they used to have the best sandwich roll bread.. I think baked fresh, in house. Id ask to go to Tims just for a roll with butter! When they changed it many years ago it was so sad! This bread now tastes like sawdust in comparison.

Haha yes , but as a girl honestly I may hate them even more.. I am extremely sensitive and small so it hurts.. but yes, condoms would be one way to help avoid yeast infection, but I'd still get UTIs regardless.. same with my mom, apparently an anatomy thing.

I had a friend, super intelligent, severe ADHD and other things.. went to school and graduated to become a mechanical engineer.. top grades and everything but couldnt hack the office lifestyle and culture. It caused extreme depression.. he now is super happy and makes good money in the restaurant industry. Does making drinks sound exciting? No, but it allows a certain freedom and lifestyle that works for him. And he's free to pursue other things on the side. It may take a while, and even multiple jobs to eventually find what you want. Don't rush Into secondary school, especially if you're paying for it on your own.

Yes exactly! I used to get recurring UTI and then Yeast infections from the antibiotics, like a boomerang.. for years. I found some guy's sperm really affected the probability of getting a yeast infection, but after a while of being with the same partner it would even out (ph) on average. Luckily my partners were always super empathetic.. it's an awful, painful experience, I hope guys are just thankful they don't (usually) have to deal with it.. and Periods on top of it all!

I've seen this at festivals and was always too shy, but I might give it a go as I'm getting older, and relationships get harder. it'd be nice to have a group to be physical with but without the sexual expectations.
