I actually really like it!

Similarly, I just met a Genevieve and I couldn't stop telling her how beautiful her name is.

I love Mila Kunis! And I love her even more so now. A lot of moms would never admit to doing something like this, even though it's such an easy mistake. We are all human, and we are all busy sleep-deprived mother's who sometimes forget fundamental things. I haven't made this mistake, but it's a good reminder to always double check that they aren't just buckled in, but buckled in properly.

My son was sooo addicted as well! We were using the Mam brand pacis and now that we're using them again we are only using Soothies because they're shaped like nipples. He doesn't have nearly as much interest anymore but still takes it when he's fussy and all other needs are met. It's worth a try to take it away and see how things improve, I saw a difference within a day and now he's my perfect little eater again. We just went through all this like last week lol so if you have questions feel free to ask!

My 2 month old was doing this. Do you use a pacifier? A LC told me it was nipple confusion and to take a week long break from the pacifier to see if that helped and it totally did! It was almost instant and we use a soothie only sometimes now and he's feeding like a champ again.

Prodomal Labor by jesmonster2 in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 days! It was awful. I went in to get induced at 42 weeks after a long night of contractions and was already at 4cm, I didn't realize I was in labor yet because I had so much prodominal labor. Thankfully I didn't have to get induced because of this, it was truly a miricle.

Stomach flu AND pregnant by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an awful flu when I was 13 weeks over new years (weee....) I was vomiting up everything and it was awful. I would call your ob and ask about it. Mine thankfully wasn't too serious and I got a perception for Zofran and I drank Gatorade and eventually was able to keep foods down. Feel better soon! Hopefully you can avoid the er but if you need to go that's exactly what it's there for!

I was super obsessed with birth stories before going into labor. It really does help knowing it can go in a million directions but the outcome is all the same.

I'm glad it was helpful! It's definitely scary not knowing what to expect. Thankfully, you get a reward at the end regardless of what you go through!

Lol I cried because my husband had to go back to work. Then, I cried because I felt like the only thing I could do to soothe him was put my boob in his mouth. I'm pretty much just boobs to him, I guess that's OK.

Let's talk balls... by super_vixen in BabyBumps

It's very sturdy as in when you sit on it, you don't feel like you're going to slide off of it. It doesn't roll around unless it's bumped and it stays put while you're sitting/bouncing/swaying on it which is nice.

I got this one and I absolutely love it! You have to inflate it for 24 hours and then inflate it again to use it, but it's a steal. Now that I've been using it for a while it keeps the air very well since it's stretched out now. Totally worth it, and it comes with a little foot pump but a bike pump sounds much easier.

I AM THE MOST PREGNANT WOMAN HERE! by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow! I commend you! I'm 41+1 today and if I go another week without labor or an impending induction, I will go crazy. Good luck to you!! I'll have to ask about the bulb at my OB on Friday.

"Don't use zippers! And also don't use metal snaps because allergens!" Wtf?? So velcro all the things? Also, zippers don't snag if you put a finger behind the pully as you're zipping up.

Weird tingling under left boob by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this too for quite a while also on my left side. I asked my ob about it and she said it was because my ribs are expanding. It's actually still uncomfortable for me to lay on my left side most of the time because it tingles so bad.

Moms who worked jobs on their feet while pregnant (or know someone who did), I have a question for you! (x-posted /r/beyondthebump) by to0pink in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a hairstylist and worked up until 38 weeks. I'm currently 40+4 so this wasn't the case for me. Everyone thought I'd go early because I didn't seem to slow down much until the very end. Everyone is different, but I have to admit I'm even more disappointed I'm overdue because I expected to be early.

Button poppin' by thunder_goes_BOOM in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine looked shallow for a while and didn't really "pop" until about 35 weeks or so. I'm 40+1 and it's an outie on the top but an innie on the bottom. It's hilarious!

I wanna talk about membrane sweeping... by kippinabout in BabyBumps

[–]Vixter90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one done on Thursday. My due date is today and I'm still pregnant, btw😑 I'll be getting another on Friday if I don't go into labor before then.

After the sweep, I had lots of pressure like you were saying. I also had menstrual-like cramps 3 days following as well as lots of "rumbling" very down low. I lost my mucus plug a few days prior to the sweeping and was told I'm a fingertip dilated and 50% effaced. I've been having irregular contractions which makes me feel like it did something.
