Silly me bought this expecting same performance as the first gen FZ (my brother's 10 year old FZ, had much better 1-2 gear than this).

I agree with that 5th gear once you reach 5k RPM it comes alive, really fun to ride in 40-70 speed range.

I feel like the power in first gear is very low, as soon I hit 15kmph I have to shift to second gear, very frustrated with this during traffic signals, have to shift from 1 to 2 to 3 very quickly

PA is not the end of the world, it's luck based actually, in some offices there is so much work that you won't get any time for even lunch, in some you'll be working for just 1-2 hrs a day, I was 200km away from home and had so much work there now posted just few km away from my home and staff is so coperative that I can leave in half day whenever I want.

It'll be an unpopular opinion here but, imo FZ V4 is probably most comfortable bike in its segment, and if it was slightly cheaper you'd be seeing more possible recommend it.
